We had a great stay at this property. The view from the balcony was amazing! The apartment was clean and had everything you need if you intend to cook (owen is on the smaller size,so 16” pizzas won’t fit) and then serve your food. To our surprise there were a lot of black bears in the neighborhood which was an added benefit for us. We spot a mama bear with 2 cubs right by the building, so be careful when you go outside, definitely don’t let children run around unattended, lock your car doors and please don’t feed the bears. We will be back! Thank you Summit Smoky Mountains View!

Great place to stay if you like mountain sceneries and wild life at its best. Being almost 3000 altitude up the drive up and down is very exciting. We saw a few Bears wondering around.

The property was built in the 80s and it shows its age. Lots of pealing paint and rotted wood on the outside. There are multiple areas of water damage on the inside ceilings especially around the fireplace area. There was a wind storm on the second night and there is a loose piece of metal on the chimney that made a horrible screaching sound all night. We also found a few roaches around the kichen area and the bathrooms. To top it off, the walls between the units must not be insulated as we could have participated in the conversation the neighbors were having every night. Overall, its a typical "investor owned rental" that gets minimum care and is just ised to reep profit off people that most likely will jump on it due to low price....
