Recent remodel located in High Alpine Condominiums, Boo Bear Hideaway in Gatlinburg, TN. Located on the edge of the Smoky Mountains. Our condo is the perfect blend of rustic and modern comfort; nestled among beautiful mountain forest. A place to relax and recharge while enjoying the convenient proximity to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, hiking in the Smoky's and so much more. A truly magical destination for whatever is on your bucket list! Only 2.5 miles up the mountain from the Gatlinburg strip.

A completely renovated space with new furnishings. This 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath Condo is located 3 miles from the Smoky Mountain National Park entrance and 2.5 miles from the Gatlinburg strip. Our cozy condo sleeps up to 8 guests. King size bed in the master, Queen over Queen bunk beds in the second bedroom along with a queen fold out sofa.
We are nestled high in the mountains and surrounded by the mountain forest, you will love the view! Lush green landscaping in the summer, beautiful reds, oranges and brown's in the fall and in the winter you will enjoy the wide open view of the Smoky Mountains with the beautiful blue hues and white "smoke" that settles across the top.
The recreation facilities and pools are only open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Entrance:
Our condo has a keyless door lock with your own code that works for the duration of your stay. No more worrying about losing keys or coordinating pick-up and drop-off! There is plenty of free parking in front of unit for easy access in the community lot. There are 6 steps to down to the front entrance.

Kitchen:
Fully equipped Kitchen with Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Oven, full sized stacked Washer and Dryer, Toaster Oven, Dishes, Utensils, Juicer, Coffee Pot, Crockpot, Mixer, Blender, and all the Cooking and Baking Dishes available to make whatever you are craving!

Dining Room/ Living Room
Our large dining room table is perfect for gathering around and eating a home cooked meal together. Sits up to 8 people. The inviting living room is ready for you to kick back and relax in while watching a good movie or playing a board game with your family and friends. It also boasts a beautiful wood burning fireplace perfect for the winter months. Games are located under the T.V.
*Living Room Closet holds extra games, vacuum, broom, ironing board and iron.

Balcony:
A spacious outdoor area furnished with comfortable and stylish seating for everyone. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or evening beverage while bear watching or enjoying the stunning mountain view. Definitely our favorite area!

Master Bedroom:
Comfortable King sized bed with new mattress, T.V. and en-suit bathroom. This room also has its own door out to the balcony with a beautiful view while relaxing in bed.

Second Bedroom:
Welcoming Queen sized bunkbeds with room darkening curtains for those mornings you need some extra sleep. This room also has its own T.V. and large closet.
* This room shares the hall full bathroom and has a door that closes off the bedroom and bathroom from the main living area for extra privacy.
*Second Bedroom closet you will find our pack-n-play and portable highchair for your convenience.

Other Amenities:
Enjoy access to three Clubhouses. These facilities include pools, indoor recreation, tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, and gym. The closest is located on property and offers a pool and recreation area. Pools, clubhouses and game rooms are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Tennis courts are open year around. Please see the owners manual in the condo for detailed hours and certain days closed for cleanings.

Free WIFI is available in the entire unit. Please do not share the log-in information.

A car is needed to get to our condo and to explore the surrounding area. There is ample free parking on sight for you during the duration of your stay. You'll have the entire condo to yourself to enjoy with easy entrance access using a Keyless lock to enter.

Although we won't be available in person, We are easily accessible via phone or email.

This property is located in a peaceful corner of the Smoky Mountains. The community is in a quiet and well maintained neighborhood called Upper Alpine Condominiums and has access to 3 clubhouses with game rooms, 3 pools, hot tubs, tennis courts and weight room. One pool and clubhouse located on property, the other 2 are very close by. The recreation facilities and pools are only open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
This is perfect for a family getaway or a couples retreat to unwind and relax. We are located at the top of the mountain so there will be switch backs and mountain driving which will be normal mountain turns and inclines. It is not handicap assessable. There are 6 steps going down to the front door.

We have tried to provide basic necessities for those times when you get in late. There is a K-cup and regular coffee machine with coffee, cream and sugar. We also have salt & pepper and sometimes oil. We provide 2 trash bags for your stay and 2 extra rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. We also have hair dryer, Q-tips, cotton balls, cotton pads, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and disposable razors and black make up towels for your convenience.

A car is preferred to get around and into the downtown areas of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. There are trolly stops throughout the area. The nearest hiking trails start about a mile away and a car is recommended to get to them due to narrow streets and no sidewalks. Please be aware that you will be driving on narrow mountain roads to get here and during your stay, so take your time and be aware of the other drivers. Free parking is in front of the building.

Pools, clubhouses, fitness centers and outdoor play structures are only open from Memorial Day through Labor Day and closed certain days for cleaning.

Please be aware, we have bears in the mountains! While they seem cute and friendly, do not approach them, do not feed them, and do not leave trash out. If you are eating on the balcony and see them in the grass, take all your food indoors. They can and will climb up to the balcony for your food, even when you are out there. Do not leave food in your cars.

We are located up the mountain, you will be driving on curvy mountain roads so please be aware of that.
