「This is an amazing property located slap bang in the centre of La Spezia old town with restaurants, bars, cafés and independent shops on the doorstep. We had the duplex suite with a large lounge-diner area and bathroom downstairs, then a bedroom with massive bath tub and a further bathroom upstairs. 「Nice and clean room. Very helpful Francesca had some great travel tips (good restaurants, nice places to visit). The hotel is a bit far away from the train station in a not that interesting area, but you could walk to the ferries to Cinque Terre and there was a bus stop close by where you could catch a bus to Leriche or the train station in La Spezia. 」

There was a communal kitchen free to use which had coffee machine and hot water for making a tea and there was a fridge in there. 「Dit verblijf is in een woord top. Simpele incheck, aardig personeel, een prima ontbijt, en een bijzonder ridderlijk ingerichte kamer ( we hadden wel de grootste). Het gebruik van de tuin was erg fijn, we mochten er ook onze fietsen parkeren, tot slot het mooie centrum van Lucca is op loopafstand van het verblijf. In een woord, een aanrader!」
