WIFI access, a complete fully-stocked kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, range, washer & dryer, coffeemaker, coffee and teas, spices, an outdoor gas grill and a wonderful covered patio for relaxing after a day of fishing, hiking, horseback riding or rafting on the Yellowstone River. This Yellowstone cabin is a delightful place from which to navigate your Yellowstone National Park vacation, and you can even walk to the park directly from our driveway, only (approx) 300 yards away. Enjoy a BBQ on the patio, a marshmallow roast at the fire pit or a relaxing stroll down our rural road, away from the noises of the city.
Just under 48 miles to Livingston, and 1 1/2 hours from Bozeman Airport, the location is convenient yet very private. If you need additional space we do have other vacation rentals on the same property as well – just drop us a note or a quick call. Feedback, both in our guest book and online, for our cabins have been consistently wonderful.
Please join us for your Yellowstone National Park and Yellowstone River vacation. Discover how comfortable and luxurious you can feel in the tranquility of the Montana experience!
We do occasionally see bears, mountain lions, wolves, bison and rattlesnakes on the property and we frequently have deer and elk - especially in the spring and fall. The property does have exterior cameras to for the protection and safety of our property and guests. Many times the elk will eat right outside the patio and bed down for the day. Please do not approach or feed any of the wildlife. You should always maintain 25 yards distance between elk, deer & bison and 100 yards from bears, wolves and mountain lions.

My family of four stayed at Trout Haven and loved it! It was spacious for us and had all the amenities we needed. We loved being so close to the north entrance of yellowstone and close to shops and stores. The drive through paradise valley was spectacular. We would definitely stay again. Tammy was great with answering any questions that we had quickly. The views while drinking your morning coffee were amazing and I miss them everyday!
This cabin was clean and in a good location. The reasons I’m giving it four stars are the requirement to take your trash to the city refuse location about 7 miles away; there was one bar of bath soap in the cabin and zero shampoo, conditioner, body wash. It seems pretty standard for those items to be available in vacation rentals. The bed pillows are worn and thin. The switches for the ceiling fan and lights in the bedrooms are confusing. There is bear spray under the kitchen sink but we didn’t find it until we were ready to leave. It was nice of the host to leave some laundry detergent and some various items in the kitchen and refrigerator. With a few minor changes this rental would easily earn five stars.
We had a great time at the Trout Haven Cabin. Woke up to Elk in the yard, and were often greeted by Big Horn Sheep, Pronghorn, and Elk on the road to/from the cabin. Even saw a coyote one night. Husband loved that he could walk to fish on the river. Easy access to the North part of Yellowstone.Cabin is well appointed and comfortable, everything we could need! Will definitely book again if we come back to this area.
The location was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was clean and stocked with all the essentials. We had yo contact the host with a question, she answered right away and was friendly!
This was the perfect place to stay as our family explored Yellowstone National Park! Mountain Views greeted us each morning and made for beautiful sunsets as we recapped each day. The cabin was well stocked and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the cabins!
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while visiting Yellowstone. Great location. This house was very clean and perfectly stocked. We enjoyed our time here!
The trout haven is in a perfect location to enjoy your Yellowstone vacation. The drive in is a little gravelly but well worth it. The house was fully stocked and had the best views! The beds were comfy and had plenty room for our family of 5 adults. Grocery store in town had all you need to stock up for lunches in the park and dinner at night. I cannot recommend this house enough. We can’t wait to get back
This place is fantastic! Convenient to Gardiner but nicely tucked away in serene mountainside. Beds and pillows comfortable, very clean and spacious, and the view along with seeing plenty of Elk made the stay that much more memorable. We will stay again. Thanx!!
Tammy has the cabin so cozy that you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the door. The cabin was clean and had almost anything you needed for day to day tasks. The views from the front window was breathtaking…..nothing like waking up and having your morning coffee looking out on the snowcapped mountains and elk running along the range!
Excellent lodging option for those looking for proximity to YNP. The cabin is beautifully appointed and very comfortable with amazing views. The road into the cabin community is stone/gravel and a bit rough in spots, so visitors should be prepared with an appropriate vehicle.
This home was absolutely perfect for our family of five! Each bedroom having its own bathroom was such a luxury and made getting ready each day a breeze. The washer and dryer were a huge bonus and so convenient during our stay. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax, whether we were lounging together in the living area, cooking meals, or enjoying dinner as a family. But what truly stole the show were the views—absolutely breathtaking from every window! We found ourselves constantly pausing to take it all in. It was so peaceful and beautiful, we honestly didn’t want to leave. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!
All I can say is "WOW"! The property has a spectacular view and was impeccably clean. I would highly recommend. Of the 4 places we stayed in the Yellowstone/Teton area, by far the nicest.
We had a fabulous time. Everything went smooth with our check in and travel. The cabin had everything we needed and more. I will say it helped having the wifi information for when we got there so we could use our phones etc as cell service was limited in that area. The location was perfect, we had a quick drive to get into Gardiner and North Entrance. The view was amazing and we will be back!
Wonderful cabin about 5 miles down a dirt road from the entrance to Yellowstone NP and the great town of Gardiner. The cabin is spacious, clean, has an abundance of amenities - all working and modern. Huge windows show off the mountain views and the river. Wake up to elk strolling along the grounds each morning.
The home was very clean and welcoming. There was plenty of dishes and items in the kitchen. Both bedrooms were roomy and had their own full bathroom which was convenient. Our only somewhat complaint is the beds were hard and uncomfortable. We saw Elk on our way up to the home. The view from the front window is beautiful!
