Vacation with peace of mind at Diamond Beach! This beautiful, Gulf-front condo offers views of the water, a private balcony, and a deluxe swimming pool with a hot tub and winding waterslides. Spend your days soaking up the sunshine and walking down the sandy beach just below.

After a fun-filled day in the sand, the kitchen makes it easy to cook your favorite meals and settle down for the night. Pop some popcorn and watch a movie on TV. Don't worry about sandy clothes, as this condo also has a private washer/dryer! Falling asleep is always a breeze, because the tide will lull you to sleep.

When you're not out on the beach, visit The Strand Historic District to shop, dine, and tour the museums and galleries. Those looking for outdoor adventure can head over to Moody Gardens to learn about exotic marine life, hit the waterslides at Schlitterbahn Waterpark, or step onto Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier for all sorts of fun. You can also try your luck at fishing off of Galveston Fishing Pier with the locals!

Enjoyable beach vacation!

Fantastic condo!

This is a very clean, comfortable, and beautiful vacation spot. The view couldn’t be better, the decor is lovely, and the kitchen is well stocked. We will definitely be back!

Birthday getaway

My husband and I stayed for a birthday getaway. The views are spectacular and the resort makes it easy to relax. Beach access if you have issues walking is a bit difficult, staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable and easy ride down to the main Seawall.

Perfect

We had the best time at this resort. We hardly wanted to leave since we had so much fun at the pools, arcade, and theatre. The unit was very comfortable, we all slept so good. We went on a fishing charter and had no problem cooking up our fish because the kitchen was so well stocked. If your going to Galveston, I highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful condo. Comfortable for a weekend girls trip. Loved the balcony and living spaces. Nice to have 2 bathrooms for 4 girls getting ready. Resort was nice and enjoyed the pool and lazy river. Affordable Ubers to The Strand and Pier area.

Beachfront Condo

The condo and resort was clean and quiet. The pool area was great also. Condo was stocked with everything promised except beach chairs. There was only 1 for the 2 of us and after calling Vacasa to ask for another we were assured someone locally would be bringing one. That did not happen so it put a damper on our beach time.

Great place to stay

This was a great condo. There were a few prior reviews mentioning the dryer didn’t work. However, this seems to be resolved. Both washer and dryer worked well and appeared to be new units. They did provide dish soap and sponge for dishes since the dishwasher didn’t work. The amenities at the condo were great. The pool was still closed due to the storm cleanup, but the lazy river was open and so was the indoor pool which was nice. They had a great play area for my son and staff was very nice and helpful. Overall, this was a great place to stay and would definitely recommend.

Weekend trip

Booked this property based off of a friends recommendation. Great location, loved the view. We did enjoy the condo, even thought the dishwasher was broken, the towels were gross, and there was a faint, unpleasant smell when walking through the front door. The pool and lazy river are amazing, however there were very view floats available for the lazy river. The swim-up bar was only open for a few hours during the 3 days that we were there. The water slide was not open at all. Would stay at this property again.

Christmas Retreat

My wife and I visited Galveston during our Christmas break. 516 was beautiful and met all our needs. The views from the balcony were breathtaking, as well were the views from the well appointed kitchen and comfortable living room. The condo had everything we needed for our stay as far as cleaning supplies, cookware, extra pillows and blankets, etc. the condo is in the perfect location on the seawall away from the bustle of the touristy portion of Galveston but still within a 5-10 min scenic drive to The Strand, historic downtown, Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier and the other attractions of Galveston. The property has many amenities such as an indoor poor and a huge outdoor pool overlooking the Gulf. Parking is easy and secure. We loved our stay, and we are already looking at what dates in 2024 we can return.

Best place to stay in Galveston!

This was the perfect spot for 3 adults to stay and enjoy all the amenities that Diamond Beach offers. You can watch the sunrise from the condo, you can access the beach, enjoy the lazy river and pools and you aren’t too far from the Galveston attractions. The master bedroom king bed is the most comfortable bed we have ever had in a condo rental. The resort was nearly empty due to it being off season and we loved the quiet and peace. The recliners in the living room were so relaxing and the view out the window was awesome. The sinks in the bathrooms are really high for a short person like us. The tile floor in the master shower is extremely slick, slippery and dangerous. Although the shower itself is big and has 2 shower heads. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would rent this exact condo again.

Diamond Beach: A hidden Diamond in the rough!

My husband Jason and I absolutely LOVED EVERYTHING within this resort! This was our very first time visiting Diamond Beach Resort. We stayed a whole week and there was never a dull or boring moment. There's numerous amenities on and inside of the property that appeals to all ages. My all-time favorite thing that I did while we were there was soaking in the hot tub! Sitting on the patio watching and listening to the lull of the waves and watching the sea gulls was so peaceful, tranquil and relaxing. We also enjoyed exercising and working out in the gym. The washer and dryer within the condo is a wonderful addition, especially knowing the fact that you can leave with clean clothes on the way home. Everything (from the time we arrived at Diamond Beach to the time we departed) was of the utmost excellence and quality. We will definitely be returning again very soon with our 16 year old son, Josh for the summer.

Great place but most appliances are broken

Took the family to Galveston for beach vacation. Location was great. The condominium itself has great pools and amenities. Also great places right by where we were staying. The issue I had with the condo is that the dryer and dishwasher did not function at all. It’s hard to be with small kids when the dishwasher and dryer do not work. I checked other reviews and it seems both have been reported for months that they are broken but they have not been fixed. I wouldn’t think it would take months to replace a dryer and a dishwasher. They are also not expensive appliances so there really isn’t an excuse. My suggestion would be to avoid this rental since it doesn’t seem like the owner cares about this property and does not maintain it appropriately. Besides that it was good.

Beach stay

This home has a beautiful beach view, very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here with only a few hiccups I wish we didn’t come across. First, the filter water from fridge had a terrible old taste to it like the filter had not been changed or something. Tasted mildew like so we had to go out and buy bottled water. Other big thing we thought shouldn’t have happened during our stay was that the living room, main tv only worked on one channel. Couldn’t get main bedroom tv to work either so called the number they listed for concerns, they sent someone out who also couldn’t get it to work. Fixed the bedroom tv but main living room never worked. This shouldn’t have happened. Other than that it is a gorgeous place to stay.
