The house was fabulous and well equipped. A second toaster with a family of 7 would have been greatly appreciated. The views were spectacular and the short walk to the beach was great. So nice to have the space to stretch out and be comfortable for the whole family. If we are every back in the Galveston beach area, i would rent this place again in a heartbeat.

Our family loves staying at the Purple Pelican! The owners are terrific and every time we go they have updated the house in some way so it is always fresh and new. Everything is perfect for us. The kitchen has two ovens which really helps and check-in is seamless. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

One of the greatest vacation rentals we've stayed in over the course of 20 years. We were there for our son's graduation from UTMB and the Purple Pelican made for the perfect home base. The beach is right there and you can see the Gulf of America from the beautiful porch. This place exceeded our expectations and is even nicer than the pictures display. Highly recommend.

Excellent Galveston Getaway

A very nice and spacious home a few minutes walk from the beach. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Our hosts were very friendly and responsive when we had questions. I would definitely stay here again on our next family trip to Galveston.
