"Our stay at Lifu Garden Inn was fantastic. The host is so kind and helpful. We arrived low on gas and they helped us fill up from a local nearby since the gas station there is not yet completed. "We stayed in the corner room with the gorgeous view of Taipei 101. It was so lovely, especially for the price! The also appreciated that they had laundry facilities - you have to pay for it, but it’s inexpensive. My kids loved taking a bath in the clean tub and we like that they also had a shower option too. The rotating TV was very handy. Will definitely be coming back to stay here. Could not recommend enough!"

"Location is fantastic, you have a MRT station exit at the hotel doorstep which is very convenient, and it’s on the quieter end of a main street through Taipei so you don’t get so much crowds. The hotel is very well maintained. Our rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. The lounge was small but a great convenience; you can get water and Nespresso (there are also 7-Eleven vending machines on the lounge level). The temperature control on the shower didn’t work properly; had sudden bursts of hot water when bathing our toddler but luckily we stopped it in time to avoid a bad burn. There isn’t a desk in the room which may be a hindrance for business travelers or those who need to get work done in the hotel but I was there on holiday. You sacrifice a pool for Japanese-style public baths, which I think is a unique selling point but not for everyone - something to keep in mind if traveling with family who like swimming. There is no drop off for the hotel if you are using ride hailing or getting a private car, and the front of the hotel is occupied by a public bus stop but the staff is very helpful to get you into the car."
