Vacation Homes in Funai District

"Amazing stay. Would stay again."

"まだ改装されて半年程のため室内はとても綺麗でした。オーナーについてや注意事項等がファイリングされておりわかりやすかった。 民家に隣接しているので物音など少し気を使いました。 一般のテレビは設置されていないので流し見したかったのは少し残念ですがまた利用したいと思いました。"

"Owner was friendly, kind and flexible, let us put our stuff in the room hours before check-in and gave us cook recommendations on things to do around kyoto when we asked."

"Very nice property "

"Erittäin mielyttävä kokemus perinteisessä japanilaisessa talossa. Omistajan antamat ohjeet olivat erinomaiset ja kaikki oli järjestetty sujuvasti."

"It’s was good that can fix 6of us and with a dining table and sofa to sit, which is quite precious for a traditional Japanese house. "

"Hideo and Yuka were amazing hosts! I would highly recommend their accommodation and tours. English spoken and tour was adapted to suit our interests. Beautiful countryside away from the noise and busy centres. Accommodation is perfect for families. One of the best stops on our holiday!!"

"Highly recommended authentic Japanese experience....while not close to the city core, its well worth it"

"This was a fantastic stay. Large family rooms are rare in Japan, so having such a comfortable shared space was a huge plus. The combo washer/dryer worked as expected, though we mostly used the drying racks. Heated floors in the morning were a luxury, and the whole place was spotless and well cared for. Thoughtful lighting added a great vibe. I’d definitely return."

"Clean rooms and high hospitality "

"Very good flat with a good location and responsive host. A good experience. "

"We absolutely loved our time at Tsubaki Ann Kyoto. It's a marvellous traditional house with amazing furnishings along with hi-tech facilities. One of my favourite things was feeding the beautiful fish! Akira (the owner) and his lovely team made us so welcome that we felt like family. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so helpful in explaining everything about the house. There is a lot of useful information on the local area too, which helped us plan our time exploring Kyoto. We...

"Very beautiful place in a quiet area. "

"Nice home "

"It was very special experience to stay at Japanese traditonal house with my family. It was a little bit far from the main sightseeing site but we were ok because we had a car. Kinkakuji was especially awesome."

"This was perfect for our group of 10. The outside gardens were beautiful. A highlight was the very large stone next door that hosts a Kami that brings happiness. The only challenge was that the personal onsen was so hot we needed to run cool water into it in order to use. This ran counter to the need to conserve cistern water. Perhapse, if there could be a way to redirect the incoming water, it could then cool naturally. A very special place to stay!"

"I travelled with my family of four (myself/mom/dad/brother) and booked this spot based on the other reviews "

"Quite and calm stay"

"Very good property, good location, very clean, clear communication from host. Feels like an authentic Japanese home. Would stay again."
