「Stayed 2 nights while visiting family in the area, found the Red Lion through an internet search, reviews were good and the price was reasonable, so we booked. Very happy we did, all the comments from the good reviews we found to be accurate. The only negative comment I could make is that, by necessity electric showers are fitted and they are a bit whimpish! You to run around to get wet 」
「The Eastleigh was an easy base for a few days away: two minutes from the pier and beach but tucked far enough up Scarbrough Avenue that you don’t hear arcade noise at night. We rolled in late morning, snagged an on-street space outside and never moved the car again. The room was spotless and practical—ceiling fan for stuffy evenings, mini-fridge with cold water and the check-in took seconds. The Wi-Fi was usable but a bit flaky, dropping in and out, so fine for quick checks but not much more....

The owners are very hospitable, and friendly. Everything has been thought of to make your stay more enjoyable and trouble free. I stayed in one of the pods, which are just brilliant. Has everything you need. Has heating and a fan if needed. The pods are right on the edge of the well stocked lake. I arrived early evening, but didn't seem to be a problem, and nothing was too much trouble. Made to feel very welcome and invited to explore the grounds...

「Taking its cue from Air BnB , this is a hotel with no Front of House staff and you get sent an access code that works for the front door and your room.
Right from the start you feel that it is going to be different. With a private carpark, accessed via the No Through Road off Market Place, you are in a courtyard with two impressive stone Gothic Revival buildings - the old Sessions House (1841) and the matching County Hall of 1927 - which now houses the hotel.

「Visited The Mansion House in Holbeach to attended the Heritage festival at weekend at Sandringham. Stayed for 6 nights.
Really lovely hotel, run by an amazing couple Sam & Richard. Nothing is a bother for them. They go above and beyond.
Car park areas for approx 3 cars at hotel, but they also have another larger car park area essentially just around corner. Always got parked there too.
We stayed in the Deluxe Double Rooms with Ensuite with wonderful showers.
