The Hotel is quaint and very historical. The staff were excellent . The parking was very difficult to find and the Sat Nav directions on the booking do not tell the full story and direct you to the front of the hotel with no parking! The carpets up to the rooms are in dire need of a very good clean or even better a replacement. The windows are single glazed (probably as it's a lsited building) and this at the back is a real problem with a VERY noisy nightclub. I was told by staff that another Night Club was being opened at the front!!!! Breakfast was good and the prices were reasonable.

The hotel was great! It was in a very central position and easily walkable to various places. The food was superb and freshly cooked.Very clean and spacious room! I would recommend it and would definitely stay again!!

All staff excellent and very helpful. Good value food and drink. Good breakfast selection. Some areas of the hotel need decorative attention. In addition some dado rails a bit dusty. Parking is adequate and free for customers. They could probably provide better directions to the car parking area for guests arriving as it is not obvious from the front. Whilst it is appreciated it is an old building it would benefit from a lift for disabled customers or those with limited mobility. In fairness this is made clear there is no lift. It would however be an excellent addition.

Our room was on the top floor. No lift so a few flights of stairs to get there. Room was small but adequate. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. We dined in the restaurant as there wasn't a lot of choice nearby. Hotel was handy for what little Boston had to offer.

The first thing to comment on is how good the staff were. Helpful and friendly in every area. In other areas the experience was good but fell down slightly on detail. The room was cosy, but needed a bit of TLC. A bit of paint touching here and there. Dinner was good, but the sea bass was tiny and the lamb pie was parsimonious with the lamb. The sticky toffee pudding could have been warmer. The menu is not cheap. At breakfast ingredients were excellent but eggs cooked too long, tomatoes too little.
