Welcome to our charming and cozy beach house on Okaloosa Island! This lovely 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit is perfect for couples or small families looking for a relaxing beach vacation. The house is just a short 2-3 minute walk to the beautiful white sand beach, and is located in a quiet residential area on the island.
Escape to a charming coastal retreat with farmhouse-style elegance at this beautiful beach house. Just a 3-minute walk away from the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico via the boardwalk, you'll have easy access to all the island's famous attractions. Whether it's watching the stunning fireworks display light up the sky on Wednesday nights during peak season from the comfort of your backyard, or indulging in the local cuisine at Stewby's and other nearby restaurants, this property has it all.
Step inside and be welcomed by custom barn doors leading to a spacious kitchen that's fully equipped for all your cooking needs. With a large French door fridge with an ice maker and freezer, a marble breakfast bar, and a variety of cookware and spices, you'll have everything you need to whip up delicious meals. The living room is the perfect place to relax, with comfortable seating, a 65" smart TV, and Netflix and Spectrum cable.
This charming solid concrete 1960s revival home has two bedrooms, one with a king-sized Tempur-Pedic mattress, a walk-in closet, and a smart TV, and the other with a cozy queen-sized Bed-Tech memory foam mattress, closet, and smart TV. The bathroom has a shower, and there's a Samsung washer and dryer set available for your use. In addition to its charming amenities, our container homes feature a premium RainSoft whole-house water filtration system, ensuring that every drop of water you use is purified and free from harmful contaminants. This advanced system improves water quality by removing chlorine, heavy metals, and other impurities, offering guests cleaner, fresher water for drinking, cooking, and bathing. With this added luxury, you’ll experience water that feels softer on your skin and enhances your overall comfort—something not commonly found in most other Airbnbs. The guest should also note that there is no lifeguard on duty at the beach and guests swim at their own risk. Additionally, the unit is equipped with basic essentials such as towels, bed linens, and toiletries. However, guests may need to bring their own beach towels and personal hygiene items. The unit is also a non-smoking and guests are expected to adhere to these rules. Finally, the guest should note that check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am, early check-in and late check-out requests will result in additional fees.
Due to being on an island with a tropical climate, there are tropical insects, amphibians, fish, etc. The space is treated regularly for pests however, you may come across a palmetto bug, wood roach, American roach, Ceratopogonidae (no-seams), mosquitos, termites, etc. During storms, we tend to find that insects can and will invade spaces to get away from the rain. While we do take precautions to keep these critters out, it is sometimes out of our control as this is the environment in which we live. The property is located very close to the water — snakes such as water moccasins are seen on occasion, especially near rocks and such, please make sure you are aware of your surroundings. Swimming in the bay there are a variety of aquatic species that can cause harm, swim at your own risk.
The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival. Please note that we do not provide additional cleaning or housekeeping services during your stay. Detailed checkout instructions can be found in the StellarDweller reservation portal, which was sent to you on your booking date.
For your comfort and peace of mind, our property is equipped with a Minut Smart Home Sensor. This small device monitors noise levels, temperature, humidity, and motion near the entry to help ensure a safe, comfortable stay for everyone
EV Charger Information
-The property has an EV charger available, and it is located in a designated parking space clearly marked with signage.
-The charger is not free — usage requires payment.
-Parking is first-come, first-served, so availability is not guaranteed.
-If you have a Tesla, there is a Supercharger in Destin.
-There are also a few free EV chargers located near The Gulf restaurant in the area.
LOCALS: Locals must communicate with the host before booking.
CHECK-IN: Check-in time is 4pm or after (unless early check-in is paid and confirmed). Please confirm with the host before booking using the Airbnb app messenger if early check-in is required. If early check-in is possible, the Guest agrees to pay a $50 early check-in fee. We kindly ask all guests to notify us of your expected arrival time at least 6 hours in advance. This helps us ensure the property is fully ready and any access arrangements are smooth.
LINENS/SUPPLIES: The linens and supplies provided will not be replenished during your stay as housekeeping is not provided, you have the option to use the the washer/dryer provided (if the property includes in unit) or you can use the community laundry to clean linens which is normally coined check the house manual for codes. Consumables have already been provided for the duration of your stay. To maintain the quality and cleanliness of our linens and Towels, we kindly ask guests to avoid using them for any items that may cause stains or discoloration, such as makeup, hair dye, tanning products, or coloring sticks. Many of these substances cannot be removed easily, and in some cases, the stains are permanent. When this happens, the linens must be disposed of and replaced, which comes at an additional cost. If our cleaning team provides a photo report of stained or damaged linens beyond normal use, a replacement or cleaning fee will be charged to the guest. Thank you for helping us keep our linens fresh, clean, and comfortable for all guests.
CHECK-OUT: Check-out time is 11am. For the cleaner to have time to prepare for the next guest properly, we ask that guests have checked out by this time. Guests are to leave keys as required in the House Manual. Check-out is defined as all guests and personal property being entirely off of the property with keys in the required location. The guest agrees to pay a $50 fine if not checked out by the specified check-out time.
If late check-out is required, please confirm with the host prior to booking using the Airbnb app messenger. If late check-out is approved by the host, the Guest agrees to pay a $25 late check-out fee for each extended hour of stay.
MAINTENANCE REQUEST:
Your comfort matters to us. After check-in, we kindly ask that you let us know within 2 hours if there are any cleaning or maintenance concerns so we can help right away when possible. Items reported later will be handled as soon as we’re able the next day. We truly appreciate you letting us know.
PROPERTIES WITH STAIRS: Please use rails when using stairs, no running, or horseplay, children will need to be accompanied when using stairs, if there are any hazards please report them before using stairs.
PROPERTIES WITH BACKYARD/FRONT YARD: The yards are on a maintenance schedule however, there can be hazards like glass, cacti, sand spurs, construction debris, etc placed that has not been acknowledged. Please wear shoes and watch where you step. Please check yard for pets.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANTS: Only the specific number of guests noted in the booking are allowed on premises unless approved in writing by the host/manager. If Guest exceeds the occupancy noted in the reservation, all guests and/or visitors to the Property will be immediately evicted without refund for unused days remaining. Guest also agrees to pay a charge of $20 per person/ per day for every visitor not identified by Guest in the reservation.
AGE: You must be 18 years of age or older at the time of booking to reserve this Property. Guest confirms that he/she is older than 18.
SHOES: Guests shall remove shoes when inside the home.
WILD ANIMALS/PESTS: Some properties are near large bodies of water, swamp, or areas where wild animals roam. While visiting Florida please be mindful we do have tropical bugs — mosquitoes, palmetto bugs, wood roaches, no seeums, etc. While we do actively treat for pests you may encounter a few critters during your stay. If the doors are left open, you will most likely allow these creatures in the home. As much as we’d love a critter free home sometimes it’s just not possible. REPORTING DAMAGE: The guest agrees to keep the Property in the same condition throughout their stay.
