Good location Not good unit

The best thing is location. Walkable area for quick runs for food, Starbucks, groceries, beach. Short drive to Hollywood boardwalk for bars and dining out. Great views. Staff was courteous. Valet team was on it. An A for location. The unit though wasn't clean. Floor tiles looked like they havent been mopped in years. Furniture was stained. Even sofa cover, which was hiding terrible stains on sofa was also stained. Couple pillowcases were dirty, so we had to check all and use only clean ones. Had to do.our own cleaning on anything we touched just to feel comfortable and never sit on sofa or dining table chairs. Score due to cleanliness of unit. But everything else was great.

Our family of six (2 adults and 4 teens) had a very nice stay in this condo! The view was good; we enjoyed watching the boats come through on the canal! The condo was clean and just as we expected. Walmart was close for everything we needed. The beach was a short walk across the street! Staff at the Hyde were very friendly and the building was clean! We would stay here again!

The view was phenomenal-we loved staying on the intercoastal, seeing the ocean and the draw bridge from 18 floors up. The appt was definitely needing serious attention. It smelled of curry, had limited trash bags and toilet paper (we were warned, but the limits for a wk stay was def lacking). Had to send several photos as there was existing damage and the dish washer leaked and recommend not using it. The elevators apparently were broken by kids on spring break the week before us and led to 20-45 min waits for going up-often used the stairs going down. The beach club amenities are for 2, no matter what you pay for (we had 6). Two days we were told no beach service was available and we were given 2 chairs on a third day. Check in is a disaster. We arrived after 4 as instructed. The room was not ready, we were asked to wait 20 mins and after 50, we went up to check. There were people everywhere. The property’s staff is great. If you want beach towels-take your own, 2/6 days we went to use them they were gone.

The property had great views being a corner property. It was big enough for 7 of us. It was clean except the floors were dirty. On the surface it looked clean but feet got black walking on it. Cleaners need to do a deep mopping. We ended up mopping it thoroughly during our stay. Had issues with bathroom clogging and very slow water flow into the toilet tanks. The dishwasher did not work and it was frustrating since we were a big group and there were plenty of dishes to wash. Communication with the host was a nightmare. Communication with building Management was also stressful as we were unable to reach them even after several calls. Eventually they called back but said that they had to get Property owner's approval. Finally after several hours of waiting, they came by and fixed the toilet but not the dishwasher. Didnt show any interest in providing prompt customer service to fix the dishwasher. So for 5 nights of our whole stay, we did not have a dishwasher. Didn't get check in info on time even though we tried calling them 3 days in advance. Vrbo also had trouble reaching them. Even after we reached the property, the front desk could not check us in because Property Management and the owner hadn't communicated with them. Finally after an hour at the front desk they allowed us to check in. Kitchen did not have mittens, hot pads to place hot pots. There was no hand dishwashing soap either. Overall, great view, spacious rooms, comfy beds and above issues to be fixed.
