"I had a great experience at Four Points by Sheraton New York Downtown—this was actually our second stay here, and it did not disappoint. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and maintenance was very attentive when needed. Housekeeping came daily and kept everything clean and comfortable. We also really appreciated that they held our bags in a secure, locked room after checkout. The area is quiet, which made it easy to relax after a busy day in the city. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel should not book rooms on lower floors on weekends. The lobby turns into a nightclub and the 5th floor is so loud you cannot sleep. "

"My only reason for the so so review is that there was no way to control the temperature in my room. I have an autoimmune issue that affects me greatly when it is too hot. The temp in the room upon arrival was 77 degrees. I had someone come up and they said that during March (and I imagine all winter) they are on central air and the rooms cannot be individually controlled by the customer. Never had that before in my 50+ years of traveling - at least not in the last 20 years anyway"
