Very nice place, like rustic, with beautiful gardens, but the bathroom too small and with one step. The lady who took care of us was very nice and friendly.

Francesca was very helpful and knowledgeable. The B&B is like staying at a friend’s house. Beautiful and comfortable common areas to commune with fellow travelers on the patio and in the sitting space. Very clean with all the amenities of home. We will return. Nothing negative. Perfecto.

Gostei da hospedagem. Parece um casarao de uma fazenda antiga. Com decoração bem peculiar. Não fica nenhum atendente à noite mas isso não é problema. Atendente educada. Café da manhã razoável. Gostei da experiência. Lugar em torno é lindo e fácil de transporte.

Pros - great location, close proximity to Florence city centre, quiet and safe gated property, safe and secure parking on site, good breakfast. Cons - would be nice to have hot items at breakfast ie; eggs, no elevator (difficult to carry luggage up two flights of stairs as retirees).

Der altertümliche Stil der Unterkunft oder des Guts war wirklich nett, das Frühstück war gut, es war für jeden etwas dabei. Leider hat die Gastgeberin kein Wort Englisch verstanden/ gesprochen und direkt auf Italienisch geantwortet (was recht unbemüht wirkte). Man konnte sich dennoch durchaus mit Händen und Füßen verständigen. Leider war der Pool nicht sauber gehalten.

I can only compliment you on the politeness of all we met. We enjoyed a nice day relaxing around the pool. The travel instructions to the location were good and we found it with little trouble. Also the local restaurant David 2 is recommended and was very enjoyable and close to the B&B

Relaxing, authentic Tuscany getaway

Set on large peaceful grounds with lots of trees. Not a lot happening nearby but fantastic otherwise. Great breakfast!

Hidden gem

I highly recommend this hidden jewel, it’s an oasis on the outskirts of busy Florence. It is a quiet, private, beautiful, exceptionally clean, and historical villa, surrounded by manicured grounds. Breakfast was delicious and very generous, and Nina was so helpful and friendly, she helped make my week’s stay feel like a home away from home. Many thanks for a lovely accommodation, I will return again some day.

Great B&B

Really lovely B&B, the pool is perfect and the building is typical Tuscan style. I can’t fault the service. Breakfast is typical Italian with bread, meat, cheese and pastries. Coffee, tea and juices to drink. The place is very rustic but it’s so beautiful you cannot fault it. Lovely spacious bathroom with everything you need. There are bus stops nearby and a train station. Easy to get in Florence city centre. There is a long driveway up to the building itself so brave yourself for the walk!

Pleasant in parts but could be better.

The B&B is around 4 km from the centre accessible by bus or taxi. Taxis are relatively expensive, close to €20 each way. The bus is okay but for us it became a bit of a drag. Most days we went into the centre early in the day and again for dinner, so 4 trips a day. A lot of time on the bus or waiting. The area around the B&B was very quiet, no sense of community in the immediate area - a bit soulless really which I found surprising. There are a few restaurants within close walking distance which were perfectly nice but a compromise from eating in the centre. Again they were quiet with very few customers. Equally the B&B was quiet. I think it was full all the time we were there but i guess guests went into the centre during the day and at night guests just returned to their rooms. The communal areas never seemed to be used. Bedrooms were clean with fresh towels most days. They were small though as was the bathroom. The pool was lovely, with nice sun beds, fridge & shower. However we were bitten to shreds by mosquitoes every time we used it. It didn’t seem to matter how much repellent we used. I don’t know if anything can be done about that, other locations spray heavily to reduce the numbers but may that’s not done in Italy. Breakfast was plentiful but pretty basic. Nothing home made, cheap bread & juice with coffee from a machine. It felt like this could have been a really nice venue albeit with compromises around location but somehow it didn’t hit the spot.

Beautiful place with lovely landscaping. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hostess was very sweet and provide a great breakfast every morning. The owner went ‘above and beyond’ to help us with a taxi to the train station when we decided to take a day trip.

Schöne alte Villa am Stadtrand

Schönes Haus, Frühstück war einwandfrei, Zimmer war gut, nur das Bad leider sehr klein und die Fugen schon etwas schwarz. Kostenloser Parkplatz, schöner Pool, alles gepflegt. Etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum , das kann man aber Problemlos mit dem Bus erreichen. Alles in allem zu empfehlen!
