Fjord cottage

A cottage for a maximum of 6 people. On the first floor, there are two separate bedrooms (2 + 1) and a double sofa. Kitchen and bathroom are situated on the ground floor.
Over the blue waters of Skalafjordur, on the island of Eysturoy, 57 km from Torshavn, 18 km from Klaksvik.


We invite you to an intimate guest house in a great location near the main road connecting Torshavn with Klaksvik, on the island of Eysturoy, centrally located in the Faroe archipelago.
The Fjord Cottage is only 45 minutes by car from Vágar Airport and the ferry terminal in Torshavn. Flight connections to the Faroe Islands are available from Denmark, the UK, Spain, and Italy with Atlantic Airways. There are also ferry reservations available on the Norrøna, which sails from Denmark and Iceland year round. The Fjord Cottage provides the perfect home base for your vacation.
The new fully furnished building can accommodate a group of up to 4-6 people. The Fjord Cottage offers complimentary WiFi, dishwasher, central heat, along with flexible check-in and check-out times when possible. Parking for 3 cars is located 5 meters from the apartment. Within 100 meters from the house, there is a bus stop and a playground for children.
On request, guests can put a baby cot in the room.
For an additional fee, you can order breakfasts and dinners, as well as tastings of typical Faroese dishes (dried fish, lamb, whale, rhubarb beer, desserts).
We can also arrange for you sightseeing tours and mountain trekking to the highest peak of the Faroe Islands - Slattaandur.
