"We loved our stay at Hotel Thireas! The staff was fantastic, helpful and friendly and the hotel is in a great location. The view from our balcony was picturesque, and we loved eating our delicious breakfast there every morning. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Fira! "

"Smaro Studios is in Firastefani which is quieter than Fira itself. This suited us well and it's any easy walk to Fira...they essentially merge. It is a lovely property with an amazing view over the caldera. The room was very clean and well maintained with everything we required. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served every morning to the table just outside the room. It was a substantial meal which we could enjoy whilst taking in an amazing view. The position of the rooms means it's very well shaded in the morning...jumper a must. There is a small hot tub available for general use. It looked very clean but we didn't use it. April was a good time to visit, but even so, on one day there were 3 cruise ships in creating big crowds and groups. Food is really expensive. Good restaurants down by the little harbour at the bottom of the cable car. Great walk from Fira to Oia...very exposed so use plenty of sun screen."

"Fanatic place. We booked the Honeymoon suite and the indoor hot tub was beyond amazing. It's private with a great view of the sea. Great value for money. The breakfast was really delicious as well. Host was friendly and helpful."

"Beautiful hotel which is very well situated near to Thira which a 5-10 minute walk. The room are comfortable and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good with lots of choices. It has beautiful swimming pools and great facilities. I highly recommend this hotel. "
