「We needed a quick one-night stay in Beauvais due to a flight to Palermo, & the Beauvais airport was what showed up in our plans...We had no expectations of how this location might be other than a decent place to sleep before a flight, and what a MARVEL to arrive & find that when it said "at the foot of the cathedral", it was not an exaggeration! 「Quaint little wooden gite in a peaceful village rural location. Great location for visiting WW1 memorials around The Somme region. Amiens is a beautiful city about 25 minutes away. We used as a base to visit Lille and Paris for the Olympic’s and both were about an hour and a half drive away. The host was constantly in touch for arrival and made us feel very welcome. 」
