The staff were very kind, the food was amazing, and the beer was cold. I have been here almost 2 weeks and this was one of the best places I have stayed. 「After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered. I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop. It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. 」

「駅からわりと近い。建物は古い。床が傾いた状態でレストアしとるんで歩くのに慣れが必要。当然エレベーター無し。水回りは綺麗で暖房は十分快適。しかし部屋が古くベッド配置等に無理がありスーツケース広げるのに苦労する。タオルと寝具は清潔に見える。『部屋で飲食するな』との注意書き。そのためか湯沸かしポットと茶葉カップ類は変なところに置いてる。朝食は立派なフル英国風。スタッフは純朴で親切。これでも少し安かったら嬉しいのに。」

「We booked an overnight here while attending a surprise 50th birthday party. We were met by Bruce who showed us to our apartment, we were over the moon with it, it was absolutely 1st class. We finished our night off in The Star Hotel bar downstairs, so was just a short trip upstairs to bed, which i thought would have been noisy tbh, but we never heard a thing. We would definitely recommend staying here, great little place.」
