"On arrival we were unable to access the property and had to wait for another guest to let us in. Smooth check process thereafter, Michael receptionist lovely and welcoming. Property description is not entirely what it seems as whole chalet is a bit miss leading, the rooms are part of a large building and spacious, clean rooms. "Very good , clean rooms with good amenities. Only uncertainty was on days when wanted to stay in room and not sure when cleaners would be around to refresh room, it was difficult to plan day around that"

"Upon arrival we were just given a key with no real booking in procedure. However when we entered the room it was clear we had not got we paid for. There was no fridge, the curtains were hanging off the rails in places and when you came out of the bathroom the vacuum caused by opening the door caused the loft hatch to jump up and then bang back down. We asked where the fridge was and that we had paid for a Deluxe balcony room to which we were informed that the booking had come through just as a double room. Lucklily I had the booking confirmation on my phone and the correct room was then immediately given to us. This room was excellent, clean, access to a small balcony which was wonderful to be able have the doors open to get fresh air. Only down point was although the shower was nice and powerful the bracket on the wall was not adjustable so the water went passed the end of the bath making the floor wet. There is a private medium terrace garden which has seating, although we did not use it, it would be a nice place to relax in. It would seem the owners have not been in situ long and are slowly bring the hotel up to standard. All the staff were very helpful and nothing seemed to much trouble. I would definately stay there again in the deluxe double with balcony."

"We spent two nights at West Beach Hotel Brighton in July! The location of the hotel is great as it is right across from the beach and easily walkable to many locations within the city. The room was clean, tidy, and quite spacious. We appreciated the friendly staff who helped to ensure we had the best of the available "Standard Rooms" when we checked in. The room had a good view of the beach, and with the windows open we are able to get a cooling breeze. The street noise was at times quite loud with the windows open, but that did not bother us at all and overall the hotel was very quiet. We would stay at this hotel again!"
