"We had a great time at the cabin. Excellent communication from the host. The views were gorgeous, the hot tub was clean, the kitchen was well stocked. White water rafting and many other outdoor activities were nearby at the NOC, which also had a great restaurant. The national park and the Blueridge Parkway were approximately 35 minutes away. The Biltmore was 80 minutes away. Lots to see and do here!"

"Yes, she was quick with response to question. Everything was as listed. Very clean. Be sure and get your instructs to get in before you get within about 30 minutes and there is no cell service to look. "

"We had an ok stay. The cabin was nice and it was very quiet. I did have some concerns and why I chose three stars. Hopefully, this will help and better the cabin. 1. The oven was very nasty. I don’t believe the cleaning company cleaned the oven at all. There were breads crumbs and food all in the bottom of the oven. 2. No Generator for this cabin. We lost power the fourth night stay. We had no cell service (no WiFi), Heat, Lights, nothing from 8:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. I would suggest purchasing a Generac Generator for this cabin. 3. Basement had dead rats around pool table and bunk beds. The main living area and upstairs were ok. 4. There was a strong odor (chemical) in the basement. Maybe rat poison? Not sure but it was very strong. So we couldn’t stay down there to sleep or play pool. 5. Public access ramp in front of cabin across the river. So there were people fishing right in front of your cabin daylight to dark. Guides were bringing customers in to fish right in front of cabin, from bridge to power plant. This would be nice to know before renting the cabin. "

"If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Super friendly host and gorgeous, spacious new custom home with expansive views of the creek from every room. The porch, the fire pit by the water, the kitchen appliances, the German doors and windows - all spectacular! We can’t wait to come back! "
