Regroup at "The Rebel Base" in the heart of Fayettevile, West Virginia's "Coolest Small Town". This 2 bedroom, 1 bath house has a tasteful and fun Star Wars theme that will welcome you in after a day of exploring the New River Gorge National Park. "The Rebel Base" is strategically located on a quiet street but less than a five minute walk from Downtown. The base was fully remodeled in 2022 with hosting in mind and feels modern and functional. This is the nicest small vacation rental in town!

Clean and well stocked

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rebel Base. Appears to be recently renovated and the owners did an excellent job. Plenty of towels, shampoo, and a well stocked kitchen made for a comfortable stay. Close to town in a quiet neighborhood was a bonus.

Great place for NRGNP trip!

Nate's place was fun and funky, fully delivering on the promised Star Wars theme! It was also perfectly located, so we could drive to trailheads in <10 minutes and walk into town for dinner.

Everything is clean and comfortable. Kitchen is simple but functional - the host even provided complimentary coffee and creamers. Bedrooms are quiet. Great loation - close to New River Gorge and to Fayetteville's main streets (restaurants, shops).

Great House/Location/Communication

Our family stayed here for three nights and had a lovely stay. The house was clean, easy to access, located in a central spot to the rest of the area, and the host was easy to communicate with and quick an answer questions. Will stay here again.

Great Stay!

Clean, comfortable, the kids loved the Star Wars theme. Very nice location in a quiet neighborhood and walkable to downtown Fayetteville. We explored New River Gorge NP and will definitely come back!

A great base for Rebel Scum

We were here for a couple of days and this place was fantastic for 2 people. Plenty roomy enough for the both of us and all the amenities you'd need for a stay. The kitchen and bathroom could be described as efficiency, but we were never left wanting. Decor is as listed and makes for a nice reprieve from the Empire outside.

Fantastic property

This property was exactly as advertised and perfect for my wife and I. This house was exceptionally clean with plenty of soap, shampoo, towels, and coffee. The owner was very easy to get ahold of and worked with me when I needed to stay an extra night. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the Fayetteville area. You can't go wrong here. Thanks for making this property available to us. It was in a very quiet neighborhood close to many stores, restaurants, and attractions.

Stellar Stay

We stayed at this lovely home just a few blocks to downtown. The rooms look just like the pictures and were very clean. As former cafe owners, we appreciated having all the kitchen items we needed to prepare some meals. It was great to be able to walk to local restaurants downtown also. Super convenient to we wanted to do in New River Gorge area.

Perfect spot for hiking NRG

Nice, clean and comfortable place to stay for a hiking week. Host was very responsive and easy to deal with. Delicious coffee is provided. Would recommend.

Great Stay

This is a great little house. Everything was very clean and the house well supplied. The decor was nice and color coordinated. Having been recently remodeled makes it feel like new. Also, very convenient to the New River Gorge Nat’l Park and the town of Fayetteville.

Close to it all in Fayetteville

We enjoyed a quick stay at Nate's great home while doing a whitewater rafting trip at New River Gorge. This home is perfectly situated near the excellent restaurants in Fayetteville and any outdoor activities you may like to do. We walked to grab a bite to eat for dinner from the home. The home was tidy and clean - we enjoyed our stay.

Great place

Rebel Base was the perfect place to stay for Bridge Day 23! The whole place is newly remodeled, and we loved the Star Wars theme! We were able to walk to the festival and downtown, so a great location! Be aware there is only a two-burner cooktop and microwave with no oven for cooking, but would definitely recommend for anyone going to New River Gorge!

The Force is With this House

Clean and well updated house with creative and helpful touches like charging stations and fully stocked coffee. Beds were comfy and the AC was working and welcoming. The Star Wars theme is stylish and fun. Loved the short walk to the shops and restaurants downtown. We would happily return to the Rebel Base

Excellent place to stay in NRG

This house was perfect for our quick trip to NRG! The location was close and central to restaurants, coffee, groceries and gear, as well as rafting, climbing and hiking adventures. The residential neighborhood was quiet, safe and well maintained. The house itself was spotless, bright, comfortable and included so many extras like charging stations and cords, nightlights, smart thermostat, toiletries, extra towels/blankets plus more. We also appreciated the checkout process only required us to lock the door, allowing us to hit the trails early. So many other places we have stayed at have required washing dishes, stripping beds, washing towels, taking out trash etc. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to NRG!

The Star Wars themed property is a galactic gem! Cleaner than a polished R2-D2. The location was perfect—close to local hotspots yet serene like Endor’s moon. Amenities were top-notch, and the host was as responsive as C-3PO. A true rebel base for our vacation—we will certainly be back.

Walkable to town

Great property overall. Quiet street and easily walkable to town, restaurants, coffee, bars, etc. very short drive to lots of hiking and other activities in the national park. Fayetteville is an AWESOME little town. Would definitely come back.
