The Stokes Stay

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located home. Great place for families, business professionals and adventurers. Biking distance to downtown Fayetteville, a short drive to the New River Gorge National Park and just a few miles from Hawks Nest State Park. Centrally located in the area offering hiking, biking, whitewater rafting and many other outdoor activities. Recently added hot tub, spacious yard and fire pit for evening relaxing.

Great location to New River Gorge. Our family of 5 had plenty of space and loved having the hot tub. Kitchen and bathroom paper products and soap were well stocked. As mentioned by others, this a clean, tastefully decorated and well maintained rental. The host is great!

Perfect house for our stay. We had 9 people total and it didn’t feel crowded. The kids loved the hot tub! Being close to Starbucks and Walmart was also a plus!

Property worked well for our visit; it offered everything we needed for our little weekend getaway - the hot tub was especially nice after our rafting trip. Parking felt limited (we had four vehicles coming from four different directions), but we were able to make it work without issue. Noise carries throughout the house, but that wasn't much of an issue. I would like to note that the one photo showed a room with bunk beds, but that room actually had a trundle bed - still the same amount of sleeping space and it worked well for us, but it was a slightly different set up than anticipated. Overall, a cute little property that we would stay at again without hesitation.

The Stokes Stay is very convenient to NRG and we were able to get to all of the attractions we wished to see with ease. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a few strenuous hikes. The house was very clean and well cared for. We’d definitely consider staying there again for a return trip.

We had a really nice stay. The hot tub was relaxing after a day on the lake. We only stayed one night but it was really convenient. I greatly appreciated being able to book for just one night. The house was cute and clean.

Fantastic WV getaway adventure

The house was much larger than I actually expected! Clean, updated and inclusive of all we could need! Very conveniently located close to all of the activities we did-- rafting, hikes, the bridgewalk restaurants are all with a few minutes drive. We only stayed 2 nights and needed a few more days to enjoy the amenities at the house. We would have enjoyed the firepit and hot tub for sure.

This property is a hidden gem. From photos we expected smaller, but upon opening door-- wow! Very spacious, very clean, tastefully decorated, and easy to use appliances. It has all the amenities you don't want to bring, too. Hot tub is clean and nicely situated off laundry room.The Stokes Stay is very close to National Park entrances, Ave Adventure Resort (we used them for dating and ziplining) and downtown Fayetteville. WiFi was excellent and and teenagers were thrilled the XBox they brought played great. Drink your coffee while watching deer walking through yards. We highly recommend this property and would give it 10 stars if we could.

Wild and wonderful

Located perfectly for everything we wanted to do on the river and lake! The house was clean and had what we needed. We especially loved the hot tub and fire pit.The owners were super responsive and friendly! Would recommend this property to everyone!

Great place for the price

We had a lovely stay here. It was well appointed and close to everything. We used the hot tub every night. Only negative comments would that the next door property looks a bit run down and the beds aren't super comfortable. Other than that, all was excellent.

This was a great little home. It was clean, and had plenty of space for our needs. It was comfortable, and clean. We did not end up using the hot tub because we were too warm every evening when we got home. I would stay here again!

Beautiful area

This was a nice house to stay in. With 10 of us we filled the space but everyone was comfortable. We had two adults and 8 kids and stayed one night. The area is really nice. The kids loved throwing frisbees in the backyard and swinging on the tree swing. The house was very clean and well stocked. It was nice to have a good place to do laundry!
