"We stayed the Alienor gite, just outside the lovely village of Lanquais near the Dordogne river. Our host Ann is really excellent host. The house is excellent - all the comforts of home, plenty of space, great welcome supplies, spotlessly cleane, nice and cool in the really hot recent weather and excellent value for money. The site up on the side of a wooded hill was really quiet and relaxing, had great views and lovely countryside or riverside walks. The large private garden and facilities...

Très bel endroit si on cherche du calme entouré de nature (grands espaces, vaches, une belle vue le matin) tout en disposant de services de proximité à 10 mn en voiture. "Nous avions choisi cette location principalement pour sa piscine, afin d’en profiter en famille avec notre fille de 5 ans. À notre arrivée : eau verte, algues, punaises d’eau. Impossible de s’y baigner.Il a fallu 2 jours pour que l’eau soit plus « claire » et nous avons passé un après midi à nettoyer les parois de la piscine pour enlever les algues afin d’essayer de sauver nos vacances. De locatie is perfect als uitvalsbasis voor veel verschillende soorten uitstapjes. En als het erg warm was, was er een airco en een zwembad! De oprijlaan is steil, gelukkig is er iets verderop nog een minder steile opgang. "
