What a breathtaking property. From the moment you walk through the big green gate, it’s an incredible place. We were a mixed group 20, friends and family, ranging from 0-50 years old. The property itself is filled with history but with lovely little modern twists, mainly the kitchen and bathrooms. It’s not obvious from the photos but there is also a large barn with a table tennis table in which was a nice hub for socialising. The pool is large and fenced off to stop any children accidentally falling in. The hosts stayed on the site however in a separate building. It was lovely having them there if we needed anything and they gave us lots of little tips but did not invade on our privacy. They made every effort to make us feel at home. The local Sunday market they recommended was a true gem.Also were 2 beautiful dogs on the property, very friendly and big hits with our group. Although the property is very close to the airport, would highly recommend renting cars as taxis were slow and expensive.
