「The AC was sooo loud we could not sleep Then it leaked on the carpet it smells like awful moulding The TV is mounted diagonally good luck watching anything without messing up your neck」

「It’s an older hotel, I’m sure soon to be renovated. Bathroom fixtures, sinks, shower/tub are dated but all very clean. Staff was super helpful and it’s of course right on the beach with 2 pools so the location is perfect. The VALUE is terrific.」

「Rick is an absolute gentleman」

「The hotel and room were very clean and quiet. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. This is our second time staying there and when we’re in the area we will stay again. Highly recommend.」

「Nice place to stay. Convenient to where we needed to be.」

「We really enjoyed our stay at The Salty Mermaid! The location was great, especially being so close to the beach. The room was comfortable and clean, and the property had a nice, relaxed beach atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, and parking was convenient. We also loved being able to walk around and enjoy everything New Smyrna Beach has to offer. Overall, it was a very enjoyable getaway, and we would definitely consider staying here again!」

「Property was clean and staff was friendly」

「The room was clean and the staff were great! One downfall....no elevator so we had to carry the luggage up the stairs.」

「It was just the average. Room was Clear and large enough.」
