"Location, location, location! Older hotel that is currently under construction for improvements. Also the boiler has gone out and there was a machine that ran all night. The hotel rooms are on the outside of the building but this was not an issue for us. Just the noise of the machine was irritating. Upon arrival the staff was welcoming and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast buffet is served. I would stay here again when all construction is completed. Many restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. "

"If you’re looking for a predictable, consistent Marriott-branded stay in Gettysburg, the Courtyard is a safe choice. The hotel was clean, well-kept, and appeared to be well-managed, which is what you’d expect from the brand. That said, it’s worth noting that Gettysburg offers many boutique hotels, B&Bs, and short-term rentals that are closer to the historic downtown and battlefield areas. We chose this property primarily to use Bonvoy points during our spring break trip, knowing it would be a more standard, less unique experience. One downside was the lack of a complimentary continental breakfast, which is something we’ve come to expect at many Marriott properties. Instead, there’s a lobby café available, but it comes at an additional cost. Overall, this is a reliable, no-surprises option—but if you’re looking for something more charming or closer to the historic sites, you may want to explore other accommodations."
