"Francesco and Melissa were great hosts in this stunning house. They gave us loads of information on where to go during the days and where to eat in the evenings (excellent restaurant every time). The breakfast was nice and beautifully prepared, like everything else they did (attention to detail was perfect). The room was unbelievable for the price, a huge bedroom, a bathroom bigger than my living room and a massive outside area on the roof with an outdoor shower, which we loved."

"Don't worry about the road condition (a bit pot holed and worn) or the slightly difficult to find hotel entrance, the stay was great. The room was large and immaculately clean. Though our limited Italian caused a few laughable glitches (or fault not the staff), the service could not have been better. The food was excellent and overly abundant. "The stay was simply cozy, peaceful, serene, homey, and rejuvenating. The place is magical and beautiful and extremely well maintained. The breakfast was delicious and prepared from homegrown products. The owner and operator of the property is sweet and extremely responsive! We loved it and we highly recommend it as a peaceful and romantic retreat."

"Very luxurious castle type property-beds are great . We had two rooms on 2nd floor - which is really like a 3 rd - hefty walk - especially with sets of luggage . Pool was amazing - they forgot to open washroom by pool - oh well . Michelin wasn’t opened that day - sad - but bistro was adequate. Road in is in terrible shape . Overall a very chill place - great staff and rooms etc . It’s just designed more for events than “ actual “ guests I believe "

"Stunning hotel in a beautiful location! Our room was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the expansive gardens. The staff went above and beyond to look after us. Fab pool area, and recommend a massage and swim in the warm spa pool. Dinner was delicious and very good value, so much food! Breakfast definitely worth it, so many options including fruit from the estate. Very much hope to return one day…"

"If only all places were like this. The couple that run this place go above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay. Set in the old town, the room is as authentic as it gets yet still very comfortable. Th location is impossible to beat, every thing is within a short walk. The breakfast was simply amazing. Fresh local produced delivered at a time to suit. The variety and portions were incredible - no need for lunch! Parking is a 10 min walk away and no worries about finding the place as they met us...
