"Good hotel about 20 min away from the airport , the staff were brilliant and very approachable especially Alison at the front desk , there is good selection of food and restaurants available inside the hotel and a decent pool , I liked the sports bar personally myself . The pool side food options were limited . The hotel itself could do with a bit of an upgrade overall a very decent stay with excellent staff . "

"We always choose Hyatt Oryx, close to the airport, breakfast is a great spread, room service is quite quick as well. Rooms were clean and size is also great"

"Broken tv, kids running up and down the hallways all night, phone in the adjoining ringing constantly. If you can leave the airport (which I chose not to) do so."

"Don’t ! I’m not sure if it’s because it’s Ramadan but this was the WORST experience. Qatar is such a clean country for this hotel not meet its standard . It had many sanitation violations ….roach , blood stains on lamps , stained toilets , stained sheets , never swept floors. Then the noise was so annoying everyday they constantly were fixing . Leak in ceiling in main lobby , no pool access because rooftop was under construction and unsafe. And worst of all NO customer service ! Doesn’t greet with smile , or anything (supervisor especially). I can list more but I’m sure you get the point ! I promise I never leave bad reviews anywhere but this was just deplorable and disgusting. Being stranded I was to receive free meals and they refused to give me even tho it’s sponsored by government. Only good thing , it’s walking distance to metro."
