"We loved staying in this home! We had ample space for our group and thoroughly enjoyed the thoughtful touches throughout. Everything was clean, well maintained and often we felt spoiled (French linen sheets). Two things that guests considering this home might note: 1) the home is also available for event rental and it appears they keep a butler’s pantry well stocked with tools and equipment for catering. That pantry is locked to guests. Having said that, the kitchen itself has excellent new appliances and ample dinnerware/glassware/flatware but anyone intending to cook might find the selection of pots/pans and serving dishes a bit slim. 2) the bedrooms are equipped with white noise machines in case light sleepers would appreciate respite from the nearby train whistles and rumbling. Non-cooks and heavy sleepers: disregard:)"

"Excellent room. Great in room amenities. Feels more like a luxury apartment than a hotel room. Extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean. This is a self service hotel. If you are on the second floor be prepared for a long flight of stairs. There is no elevator. Met the owner on my way in. Great lady. We had a lovely chat, she is doing great things to revitalize the city. Gracious and happy to offer recommendations on dining. "
