「This hotel recently joined a new hotel group and is about to undergo a major refresh, which it definitely needs. My room looked sad -- no art on the walls, dull and dated decor, broken window shades, bathroom very clean but also dated. The restaurant and bar are closed on Sunday, so there were no amenities available when I stayed there on a Sunday. The continental breakfast was unacceptable -- very small selection of sad looking pastries that looked like they came from the supermarket and hot...

「The only thing positive I can say was that the people working at the front desk were kind. My room smelled strongly of smoke (in a supposedly non-smoking hotel), and they didn’t have another room available to move me to. Their solution was to spray the room with floral sanitizer spray, and not refund me. They said they couldn’t refund me because I booked through Expedia and not through them directly. Also, the room was freezing (even after turning the air off), the shower head was not working...

「Check in is at exactly 4pm, no earlier. They will email you if you'd prefer an early check in, pay $30. But I did see guests had paid and still waited til after 4 to check in. Front staff at reception there was one woman who was very rude and non welcoming. Right at 4pm there was a huge line of guests waiting to check in. Not very smooth or ideal way to have guests arriving.」

「Our room was unexpectedly huge! We booked the Oceanfront Queen Suite w/ Kitchen and stayed in room 101. It is on the ground floor, with patio doors you can pull right up to, so it's easy to unload your car. There is a large living room, with lots of windows and a sofa bed. My 17yr old son slept there and found it comfortable, he is 6'3" 200lbs. The queen bed in the separate bedroom was also very comfortable. Next up was the kitchen. We expected a kitchenette, but it was a full size kitchen...

「喫煙の上司との出張で、訪問先からの紹介もありこちらで宿泊。ドーバー自体大きな町ではないのですが、ホテル自体は清潔に保たれており、雰囲気は良かったです。たまたま夕方5時頃からおよそ1時間30分ほど停電しましたが、係りの方が折り曲げて発光させる10cm程のセーフティーライトを階段や廊下に並べ、配っていました。自分は丁度仮眠中だったため、連絡が取れず心配した上司が、スタッフと共に部屋をノックして起こされましたが、停電には慣れているようで、対応も良かったとのこと。夕食は15分ほどかけてNewick'sまで行きでっかいロブスター2匹をそれだけで良いの？って値段で食べてきました。」
