「What a lovely place to spend time on you travels! A lovely property set in a rural location, great facilities and an excellent bar/restaurant. The weather was fabulous that day so spent the evening in the lovely beer garden, but indoor dining rooms/spaces also looked good. The welcome was warm and efficient (I’d only booked a few hours before turning up) and the staff really made the stay very pleasant/comfortable. Definitely a place to stay if you’re in the area.」

「The room was nice and cozy, it had the best bed I have ever slept on in a hotel! The tea and coffee were very much appreciated as well. The staff were lovely, they couldn’t do enough for you, I will definitely stay again if I visit Thetford.」

「Having booked a four person room, I was very surprised on arrival to find that out accommodation was actually a two floor cottage with a kitchen. Very comfortable and spacious. Two televisions. One separate double bedroom on first floor. All lovely. Breakfast was excellent and not a buffet but plentiful. Overall highly recommended. Staff were all very pleasant also. If you are lucky you can park right outside your cottage otherwise there is a carpark very near.」

「Lovely location and tranquil setting. However our stay did not include breakfast and at £13 each we gave it a miss. Plenty of parking outside, although there were very few staff around, we had to call the hotel to get someone at reception.」

「I was not really happy with the room I was given. I booked a normal room, but received a room for an impaired person. I was put in room 1. The shower was a wet floor shower, which was not too bad, but the bed was terrible. The mattress had collapsed and I ended up sleeping ( actually I didn't sleep) in a dip, ended up with body aches.」

「Great place to stay for Forest Live. Hotel is lovely, warm and welcoming. It was a warm day so quite hot inside but we spent time outside in the huge gardens, the bar was open and we sat next to the river. Breakfast was superb, fresh fruit and proper butchers sausages! Would definitely stay again.」

「A lovely location and great facilities. Great staff and bar area had a lovely atmosphere. Morning breakfast was delicious with attentive staff. Rooms were very quiet, hotel had a lift which is very convent as the steps are steep to the 2nd floor. The rooms are a little tired and the bathroom window privacy screening is in desperate need of replacement. Kettle is completely scaled up and cups were also dirty so this needs to be addressed. Ok Value if the above were dealt with then it would be...
