"As noted by others, the establishment is a little dated and there is the slight smell of smoke in the hallway from a bygone era, but the lady that greeted us was incredibly pleasant and made us feel very welcome. We stayed there 2 nights and both were very quiet. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is nicely located in town. We will gladly stay there again."

"Truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and soulful home. Loved the back patio to watch and listen to birds. The home is filled with light and is well stocked with everything for daily living. Great location for visiting Sequoia NP and easy access to town for restaurants and groceries. We’ve stayed at many VRBO properties and this one is definitely a two thumbs up!"

"The room was not fancy, almost utilitarian, but clean, functional, and properly prepared. The only issue was a leaking tub spout, but for the price, who really cares? I’ve stayed in other hotels for 3 times the price with the same overall experience. If you just need a place to crash it’s perfect. I rarely write reviews but this was notable in being an awesome value."
