「Very nice hotel and room. Nicely decorated. Fairly new. Magalie at Reception was superb. Thanks! Location a bit out of the action but walkable to everything. Had dinner at the restaurant at night, not the best meal. Probably best to eat out. Bed squeaky. Would stay again. Love Val d'Isere!!!!」

「Staff was very helpful, location is ideal. But, can't figure out why a bed too large for the room is shoe-horned in, with a small counter-table located so it is almost impossible to get around bed to rest of room. 」

「We are a family of four, with two college-age children, and had a wonderful stay at the Samovar. We stayed in one of the family rooms, which was perfect for us (with two beds in a spacious upstairs loft). The hotel is perfectly located -- literally across the street from the Dailles gondola (and only about a block from the funicular to the summit). There are a couple of restaurants nearby, including a great Savoyarde spot across the street. There is a regular shuttle bus to the main village of...

「Stayed here for a week skiing location was excellent ski to door and from door to Olympique was great.breakfast was basic but did the job.」

「Great location close to restaurants, bars and supermarket. Not ski in/out but only a short walk to the nearest lift. Spa facilities were great to unwind after busy day on the slopes. Will be back」
