「We really loved this apartment! It’s on the 6th floor, with great views from the balcony. You really feel you are in Paris!! It’s within easy walking distance of so many sights, shopping and restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed—well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of storage. We just loved coming “home” to it every evening. The owner, Frederic, was very responsive and super helpful. I would love to stay here again. Merci!」

「The location was perfect as I could walk everywhere I wanted to go – museums, monuments, both sides of the Seine – and the restaurants, boulangeries, patisseries, fruit stands, and grocery stores were all within 2 blocks. The previous reviews had mentioned the staircase, but potential renters need to know that not only is it 4 flights up, it’s very narrow & spiral with old wooden steps. 「The apartment is five minutes’ walk from Sentier Metro station, and is accessed through a shopping arcade with several entries, although only one is accessible at night. It was up several flights of stairs with no lift, but we knew that in advance so not a problem. Everything worked apart from the toaster and was clean. The apartment is spacious. The only downside was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in certain areas, which I assume came from a downstairs apartment. I would stay there again but...
