Welcome to your private slice of the Crystal Coast! Cassimir West, offered by Crystal Shoals Vacation Rentals, is an oceanfront half duplex offering breathtaking, unobstructed North Carolina ocean views. Located in Spinnakers Reach on Emerald Isle, the westernmost island of Bogue banks, this recently renovated 1/2 duplex offers the best of both tranquility and convenience. We hope you will consider Cassimir for you next beach getaway.

On the main level, you'll enjoy an open floor plan, perfect for entertaining with lots of natural light. Take in the ocean views while you prepare a meal in our updated kitchen or forego the dishes and enjoy take-out on the over-sized table with room enough for ten. Once dinner is complete, walk out on the large, private deck to take in the sunset or stroll down our boardwalk to the beach. Wash your feet off in the private outdoor shower, located below the main level deck.

Back on the main level, you'll find a bunk room with four twin beds, perfect for younger guests or those young-at-heart. Upstairs, our guests have the option of a king suite with a private balcony and bathroom with a jetted tub or two other additional bedrooms. The first, a king room, also features a private balcony with ocean views. This room shares a full bath with the third bedroom, complete with two double beds.

The ground floor features a finished garage complete with air conditioning, pool table, couch, tables and chairs, and television - a perfect additional entertainment space.

We are available via text, phone, or email.

**We only accept Saturday-to-Saturday bookings from Memorial Day to Labor Day**

Guest enjoy free, on-site parking and are just steps away from the private community pool.

**FREE ELECTRIC CHARGING** On-site level-II EV charging! Don't stress over the lack of chargers on the island. Charge anytime you need, right in our driveway at 9.6kW or 36 mi/hr!

The property has three sets of stairs that may be difficult for some guests to navigate.

The entrances and parking lot are under 24/7 video surveillance for your security. There are no cameras inside the home or private areas.

Property is super nice, love the pool area and kids loved the game room. The neighborhood is really nice and even found some deer and bunnies hoping around.Only things to share is that more than 3 cars is almost impossible if someone occupies the other house, may need to park at pool. Also the beach is super busy so set up shop early and you will have an awesome day!

Emerald Isle Beach Vacation

Check-in was easy, kitchen fairly well equipped, but could use additional food storage containers. The heating element on the clothes dryer needs to be replaced, took forever to dry towels. The stairs inside the house are very steep and narrow, very dangerous.You need to hold onto the railing going up and down the steps.

Amazing beautiful house on the beach!

We stayed at this home for a week in the beginning of July. House was exactly as nice as it looks in the pictures and right on the beach. Communication with owners was awesome as there was a tropical storm warning on the Island on move in day! Would definitely stay here again!!

Annual family vacation

Cassimer West is a wonderful oceanfront duplex. It was roomy enough for our family of eleven. The only concern we had was the kitchen drawer containing kitchen tools was stuck, probably due to beach moisture, and we were unable to ever get it opened. I would certainly recommend this rental!

Beautiful with small flaws

The property was gorgeous, we loved the house and had a great time. Stunning beach! We even saw deer and a beautiful rabbit, very unusual to see wildlife at the beach. Things not listed in the details: there is a whistle buoy right offshore that makes an eerie sound 24/7, in pretty frequent intervals. You become accustomed to it but not ideal. The WiFi has a sign in required, which is a little intrusive and prevents things like Google Chromecast from being used. And just a heads up, the kids bedroom is on the first floor and the rest of the bedrooms are upstairs, you can figure that out from the listing but it's worth thinking about ahead of time.

Great House

My family enjoyed a wonderful week at the beach staying at Cassimir West. The location of the neighborhood can't be beat as it's close to restaurants, grocery stores and the cute town of Swansboro. The house being right on the beach provides excellent views and you can be on the sand in no time. It was a great stay for both the kids and adults and we hope to return one day.

Winter escape

Great home great location

A wonderful home to host a large family gathering. House isn’t perfect, but it still gets a 5-star review because it’s so comfortable and laid out very nice for a large group. Very family friendly. The downstairs area for the kids is great. Beach is perfect.

Very nice VBRO!

The property is perfectly located on the Emerald Coast in a lovely, quiet neighborhood and on the beachfront with magnificent views. The owner was extremely responsive to our few queries. Be warned, however, that the stairs are steep for an elderly person so plan on anyone who can't manage stairs well to use the bedroom on the lower floor. Parking is also tight but manageable. Overall very highly recommended. Thank you!

On the Beach

Overall a nice place to stay. Right on the beach. House was clean. There was a knocking noise 2 of the three days we were there that could be heard all day and night long in the downstairs bedroom and two upstairs bedrooms, but we could not pinpoint what was making the noise. Kitchen was stocked ok, large tables was nice. Major draw back was the only way to get to the game room was to go outside.

Great Place

Wonderful place right on the beach. Two families with kids stayed for a week. The house and it’s location was great. Easy Access to the grocery store about miles away an in a closed community with no busy roads. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the back deck overlooking the ocean. Everything was clean on arrival and the house was generally new with just the normal wear found in any beach house rental. We cooked all our meals and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensils, etc to cook and feed for 10. The community pool was also an easy walk. We found a few issues with the house, but the owners and property manager were very quick to respond and did a great job making things right with very little disruption to our vacation. One minor thing which we discovered while there was that the community beach access for Spinnaker’s Reach was a few houses away, so this section of beach would get a bit crowded mid-day (around 12:00 to 3:00). But since this house had direct and easy access, we never had an issue claiming a spot. I would recommend this place and would certainly stay here again. Thanks Kyle and Paige!

Vacation July 2023

Great location! Nice neighborhood, oceanfront and short walk to pool ( which could have been kept a little cleaner) House was beautiful and kitchen had everything we needed ( one more big pot would be useful) You have to go outside to get to game room, which would be fine if kids are older. We had some plumbing issues ( which happens) and owners were very responsive and sent someone out quickly. Great vacay!

Great Location for Beach Getaway

This duplex was located right on the beach! From the living room you could see the ocean. The unit was spacious and had a well stocked kitchen. The downstairs garage was converted into a billiard room and we loved spending time down there in the evenings. If you are looking for a house right on the ocean this is the place for you!
