  • Feel like the King of your vacation in this 3-Bedroom, 2-Bath, Oceanview Cottage! Big Kahuna is a wonderful place for your family to vacation in Emerald Isle! High Speed Wireless Internet Provided!

    Ground Level: Enclosed Hot/Cold Outdoor Shower.

    Level One: Living Area with a Flat Screen TV, a Blu-Ray DVD Player and access to the Covered Deck. Dining Area has table for eight. Deck Access is available from the Dining Area. The Kitchen Area includes a Microwave and a Dishwasher. There is additional seating for 3 at the Breakfast Bar. Bedroom #1 has a Queen Bed. There is a Full-Bath on this level.

    Level Two: Bedroom #2 has two Twin Beds, a Twin Daybed (Daybed has Twin Trundle - linens not provided for Trundle), and a door leading to the Uncovered Deck. Bedroom #3 has a Double Bed. A Full-Bath connects Bedrooms #2 and #3.

    Amenities include: 4 Color Cable TVs, Blu Ray DVD Player, 2 DVD Players, a Washer/Dryer, a Dishwasher, a Microwave, Central Air/Heat, a Breakfast Bar, an Uncovered Deck, and an Enclosed Hot/Cold Outdoor Shower. Enjoy the boat launch facility and access to the sound at the new Emerald Isle Boat Launch Facility located less than 2 blocks away! Between Mile Marker 17.5 and 18 on Highway 58, adjacent to Chapel By The Sea.

    Linens and Towels provided with Beds Made for Weekly and Nightly stays.

    No Smoking.

    No Pets.

    Rents Weekly Sunday - Sunday. Rents Nightly with a 3 night minimum in advance year-round.

    Please Note:
    (1) Guests must pay in full when booking through VRBO. The card provided at the time of booking will be charged for the total. Guest will receive follow up communications including Management Company’s Vacation Rental Agreement for e-signature which is required for all stays.
    (2) Management Company reserves the right to deny stays less than 7 nights, if the arrival date is more than 30 days out from the booking date. Stays less than 7 nights, with an arrival date between mid-April to mid-October, are strictly prohibited unless approved by management.

Great location. Very close to the beach and in a nice area. The house is spacious! Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Bathrooms need serious updating, and the carpet and comforters need deep cleaning. We tried to ask for access to the storage for beach chairs and umbrella, but were never answered. House has minimal everything. Little toilet paper, no soap for anything, 1 trash bag for a 5 day stay. No staples in the pantry. Having rented houses many times before, this had the near minimum amenities. We loved Emerald Isle but would likely look for a different property next time.
