This place was spacious, affordable, and made our family’s Thanksgiving get together possible. A word of caution; if you use the fireplace right up until you go to sleep on a cold winter night, as we did, the thermostat takes a while to recognize the rest of the house is freezing and won’t kick on the heat. The host did provide extra blankets, which was greatly appreciated and needed!

I would not recommend this property based on my recent experience. 1 No on-site management: When we had issues, the property manager sent a neighbor—not staff. The neighbor did not even have access to resolve the problems, which resulted in multiple unnecessary visits and wasted time during our stay. 2 Cleanliness concerns: Upon arrival, food was left in the refrigerator, which immediately raised questions about how thoroughly the home was cleaned, not to mention that you must dispose of trash yourself upon departure - not only did I have to remove my own trash, but trash from prior booking. 3 No hot water: For the entire 3-night stay, there was no hot water. This made showers impossible and ultimately forced us to cut our trip short. 4 Unprofessional communication: The property manager/owner responded slowly to messages, and when I requested a refund (or even a partial refund) for these major inconveniences, I was told she felt “disrespected” and therefore would not issue any refund. I had to escalate the issue through VRBO directly.Overall, the lack of professionalism and support from the property manager/owner was extremely disappointing. This property should have reliable staff on hand to handle guest needs. I left feeling unsatisfied and frustrated, and I would not recommend booking this rental.

the house was not clean hair in the shower yellow crude behind the faucets (I cleaned) no towels in bathrooms they were in a hall closet which made no since when there is a linen closet in master bath. no where to sit couch is wore out the chair peals off on you and the only other chair is a straight back wooden chair the road is very busy cars coming and going all night, The four lane you can see and hear. Not happy with the house

Can’t tell your close to the city.

Nestled back into the mountains off the main road. Felt like you were staying in a mountain cabin up in Blue Ridge but close to shops and activities in Ellijay. Nicely decorated and clean. The only downside as others have admitted was the trash, but since we were staying close to friends camping neasrby we took it there.

Great house!

This house was great for our family of 5. We were in Ellijay for a family wedding at Engleheim Vineyards, and this house was in the perfect spot! You’re in the woods, but 5 minutes from everything you need. The house is clean and nicely decorated. The rooms all have large closets, and the master bathroom was fantastic. We enjoyed the back porch every evening. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect

I was searching for a place that was private but close enough to town. This place was ideal. Quick drive to really anything one would need if they were staying out of town. Really enjoyed our stay while we were at our baseball tournament. Personally, I really enjoyed destroying my kids at Mortal Kombat.

Relaxing stay

My husband and I brought my mom and aunt on a trip to the area for some hiking and to enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This place was a great stay. The location was perfect and the house was very nice and comfortable. We had no issues finding the house and enter was easy. We really enjoyed sitting on both the front porch and back deck to watch the sunset or the rain that came though one day. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful and comfortable

We really had a nice stay. The house was clean and very comfortable! Host was quick to respond to questions. Location was in a quiet spot but very close to stores, restaurants and things to do. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice home and location

The house is quite nice and well appointed. Location was convenient considering the reason for our trip. Only two complaints: I had to call VRBO to obtain the code to get in. This was supposed to have been sent to me but was not. The VRBO agent was helpful and was able to resolve in a few minutes. Second issue was that we were responsible for disposing of our own trash. Failure to do so would result in an additional $50 charge. I must say I’ve never stayed somewhere where I was responsible for disposing of my own trash. If this was disclosed prior to me booking our stay, I missed it. I understand that the owners don’t have trash service on the mountain but to have your guests be responsible seemed very odd to me.

Great stay

Everything was amazing. We had a seamless check in, the house is absolutely stunning. The game machine was a hit with the kids. Very spacious layout. Beds were so comfortable. Elijay and blue ridge are close by, so the location was great. Had so much fun and definitely will be returning. As others have said, no trash service. So we just put our garbage in Walmart bags and took with as we left to explore the area. Not a big deal though.

Relaxation

The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Nice, quiet and relaxing. Perfect place for 4 people to stay. Only issue is that there isn't enough room to seat more than 4 at the table and livingroom.

Convenient Cabin in Ellijay

This cabin is a gem. Upon entering, the cabin was spottless and we noted and inviting wood smell, Plenty of room for familes and coveniently located 3min from the 515 which can get you anywhere in the area, including the many wineries. The location was better than expected. The decor perfectly suits this home. There are trees behind the cabin and a nice gas fireplace which was easy to "turn on". Will definetly stay at this cabin next time. The host was very communicative and responded to our requests in a timely manner, although we only had a few.

1st time in Ellijay

We thoroughly enjoyed our first vacation in this part of the country. Our cabin was great. We loved the smell of the wood every time we walked in due to it being a recent build. We had plenty of room for a family of 4 and were very comfortable. We loved the decor and furnishings as well. We were very close to town and all Ellijay had to offer.
