Wonderful experience in this cabin. Kitchen is very well stocked and little things like small blankets on every couch/chair made the cabin cozy and comfortable. The lower floor gave us a perfect combination of privacy and connection with rest of cabin. My husband and I stayed there and the floor felt like an apartment with its own living area. Too cold for tubing but will be back to experience that as well.

The host was very responsive to all questions. Great location right across the river. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit that is right next to the river. Plenty of air mattress and beddings are available for use.The cabin is very cozy and we love the Christmas decorations.

As described. Grands had a blast seeing deer every day. Love to hear river rushing by at the fire pit. downtown Ellijay is 10 minutes max. Orchards, fishing, and wineries easy drive also. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful property with all the amenities you could ask for. River tubing bonfires deer everywhere and just an hour or so from home. Downtown Elijay has been transformed over the years and is worth a visit for lunch or dinner. Do consider this home for your future getaway.

Amazing property, with a lot of room for a big group. Love the well stocked kitchen and the fine decoration. Please follow Ann’s instructions regarding the address. If you have never been in Coosawattee River Resort, getting there may be tricky, specially at night. I have ATT and lost service in the resort area. We all enjoyed the fire pit and the super easy access to the river. We saw a lot of deers too! I highly recommend this property and thank Anna and her husband for the hospitality.

Vacation perfection

We had a great family vacation at this house. The kitchen was very well appointed for anything we needed to cook nearly all of our meals. There was even laundry detergent provided! Beach towels are also provided which was fantastic! There were plenty of bath towels in each bathroom which is so appreciated. The entire house was very clean, and communication with the host was easy and quick. Pack some earplugs if you plan on staying on one of the lower floors because you can hear every footstep from up above. There are more stairs than I realized when booking, but we managed, and that wouldn't stop me from staying here again. The river is shallow right behind the house, and it was perfect for sitting and cooling off. But don't miss out on tubing the river with the provided tubes. We would happily stay here again the next time we are in town.

Family Christmas Vacation

The cabin is beautiful and we enjoyed staying here. Please be aware the main floor is upstairs. My elderly Mom wasn't able to climb them; but there is a nice den, bedroom and bath downstairs. Also the driveway is steep. The view of the river is awesome!.

Fun river retreat

Our family enjoyed our stay here! We loved tubing in the river, it is fast moving and fun. Takes a little while to get to the property from the neighborhood gate but we saw tons of deer on the road. The deer are not afraid of cars so be sure tondrive slowly.

Perfect Summer Fun

Everything was as expected. Great location right on the river for ease of access. Cabin had all that and then some. Relaxing and a lot of fun. Easy to day drive to waterfall hikes and downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Excellent communication from the property owner. Perfect summer family fun for all three families. Would stay again for sure. Thank you!

Beautiful Cabin on the Coosawatee river!!

Our stay here far surpassed my expectations! The photos really don’t do the Cabin justice. There is beautiful hardwood or pine wood throughout the cabin, the bathrooms are spotless and updated with beautiful granite. Most importantly, the cabin was spotlessly clean, I feel like you could eat off the floors here. Tons of extra blankets, linens, and loads of extra towels. The kitchen was very nice and well equipped. The layout of the cabin is very nice. It felt very comfortable for our party of 10. The rushing river is feet from the cabin, it’s beautiful, and feels very private. I’m not sure when the hot tub was put in, but it feels brand new. It was very nice and spotlessly clean. This may vary from season to season, but we also saw loads of deer, including walking feet from the cabin. Lastly, Anna was an exceptional host, very good communication, very easy to work with, I would highly recommend this Cabin to anyone!!

Wonderful stay

We certainly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. Everything was as advertised. The home was very comfortable. Being located next to a beautiful river was a hit. It was too cold to tube but we enjoyed our time by the river. Night time sitting around the excellent fire pit with abundant firewood supplied by the hosts was so enjoyable. Anna was very timely in responding to any questions we had. We had no problems with our stay and would love to return in the future.

Riverside serenity

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful riverside cabin with my family of 4 and our 2 dogs, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. The cabin is not only perfectly located by the river, but it was also incredibly family-friendly. It had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, making it feel like a home away from home. The host was incredibly helpful and promptly communicative, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Including helping us recover a lost prized stuffed animal of our youngest child and offering to return it to us. One of the highlights of our time at the cabin was the privacy it offered. We were able to relax and unwind without any disturbances, truly allowing us to recharge. The view of the river from the screened in porch was simply breathtaking, and we loved being able to easily access the river for some fun water activities. Overall, I cannot recommend this riverside cabin enough. It provided the perfect getaway for my family, and we left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Thank you Anna for providing such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic spot for a peaceful and serene getaway!

We absolutely loved the cabin, it has a beautiful view and booking was a breeze. The host was very responsive and hospitable. The cabin itself was well maintained, clean and roomy. This is the perfect place if you are looking for some peace and quiet to reconnect with nature while big enough to host a large group. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable

The cabin was comfortable and very close to the river. The fire pit and chairs river side were very nice. Our only issue was the refrigerator wasnt totally empty when we arrived. The 2 top shelves and the door were full of items which made it hard for us to store our items for 4 days. Other than that it was great

End of summer trip

Perfect location on the river. Tubing is great! Cabin is nice. Screened in porch was relaxing listening to the sounds of the river.

Riverfront location

Overall this location was great. We came to the area for a family reunion and had my 84 year old mother-in-law with us. I did not expect the number of stairs that she had to navigate. We gave her the primary suite on the middle floor so she could also access the kitchen, living room and beautiful screened in porch without having to use any stairs. Because we were at the resort for a family reunion, we had to get in our vehicle each day to go elsewhere. The driveway is not accommodating to large vehicles. We had a Yukon and could not get up into the flat portion of the driveway. It appeared that lots of homes in this resort area had treacherous driveways. I think a smaller vehicle with 4 wheel drive capabilities could easily navigate this region. Unfortunately it stormed our first 2 days so the River was too high to get in the water. The metal roof provided wonderful sounds during the storms. We enjoyed the porch and deck. There were rapids just in front of the property providing a lovely running river sounds. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Overall a great experience. In the end, my mother-in-law has improved confidence in herself while being thoroughly exhausted. We created great memories during this wonderful adventure.

Cabin is amazing

This cabin has everything that we needed for our trip. House is clean and a lot of activity to enjoy while we stay. Host is super nice and helpful. Highly recommended if you looking for amazing cabin close to the river. We have a lot of fun and absolutely will be back here again soon.
