Mountain getaway with breathtaking views. Pet Friendly!

  • STR Host License # 002390 Situated near the summit of Double Knob Mountain in Ellijay, Georgia, Mountain Ridge Retreat offers breathtaking views on all levels. Enjoy the adventure as you drive up the mountain. FWD/4WD recommended. Recline back and enjoy the view from the upper deck. Cozy up to the small fireplace on the main deck or enjoy a meal at the outdoor dining area. Jump in the hot tub or lounge around on the swing on the lower deck. Or head back inside and gather around the pool table. The firepit is great for stories and smores. The Retreat is conveniently located 20 minutes from Ellijay and Blue Ridge for shopping and dining. We are also steps away from the Benton Mackeye Trail. The Mountain Ridge Retreat offers 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms and is a hiker's delight and pet friendly. We offer HULU live and Disney Plus. FWD/4WD recommended. You will be driving up and down a mountain.

Excellent property. Very quiet and clean. We would definitely stay there again. The only drawback is the road to get to the cabin is VERY rough. Other than that, it was a great time!!!

The cabin was wonderful! It is so spacious and lots of places to gather and make memories. We loved the screened in porch with our furbabies. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed. There was even shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers. The beds were SO COMFY!!! We all agreed that the beds and linens were wonderful. There was even a heated mattress pad on the kind bed downstairs.Mae is a great host with a beautiful cabin. The roads getting there were steep and bumpy.

We had the best weekend! The place was ideal as it has plenty of space, while plenty of common areas and so many things to do - pool, darts, board games etc. The hosts provides basically anything you need in the kitchen - appliances, pots, pans etc. The cabin was super clean and the beds were very comfy with some pretty amazing views!

I loved this cabin. Clean, comfortable, and great views. We had our dogs, so having the fenced yard and screened porch so they could be alongside without stress was a huge bonus.
