Apple Bear Ridge is a luxury log cabin in the highly sought after Lake Buckhorn Community, with everything you need to have a special weekend away or bring friends for festivals and leaf viewing. Either way you will be blown away with the morning sun rises over Rich Mountain Wilderness Area, and did we mention the amazing orange harvest moons in the Fall!!

Apple Bear is now equipped with a whole house generator, so you never have to worry about a power outage from a storm.

Best yet

We’ve stayed at several cabins up here. I did research and found this one. It is in a great location and the view is picturesque. We enjoyed everything about it. Even just sitting on the deck watching the sun rise over the mountains or the clouds come in. And our Host Jim was the best. Always available and helpful. We will return!

Apple Bear Cabin

We had a wonderful , relaxing weekend at Apple Bear cabin! The views from the back deck are beautiful! The cabin is quaint and cozy! The kitchen had everything we needed! Very clean! We will definitely be back to visit this cabin and the north GA mountains ! owners were very responsive!

This had to have been the best experience I’ve ever had with a rental. Jim and Carolyn were very responsive and proactive with any necessary communications. The place is FLAWLESS. The cabin was so clean and had everything we needed during our stay. We had 3 adults and 2 large dogs in our group and the space was just right. The porch was a great space to enjoy coffee and the beautiful Georgia mountains. Pictures do not do this cabin justice! The location was great- far enough from everything to feel secluded but close enough to feel we could run to the grocery if needed. We also found great trails in the “neighborhood” to take the dogs for a hike. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! :)

One of the best Mountain Homes

2nd review of this beauty. Small but one of the best cabins we've stayed in. Paved road to the cabin which is unusual since many are not paved. Perfectly situated between Ellijay and Blueridge GA. About 15 to 20 minutes to most shopping areas. Also the cabin was one of the best equipped. Didnt want for anything in the kitchen. The beds were hotel quality. We even came home and purchased the pillows that were in use at the cabin...we slept so well on them. Views were nice especially in a.m. watching sunrise over smoky mountain tops. Baths were ample sized with granite counters and 1 shower and 1 tub shower. Fireplace in living room was nice to have in the cool mornings. There are electric "fireplaces" for quick heating and ambience in each bedroom as well. Mountain side porch/deck with rocking chairs and grill. This home was only about 1 month new when we stayed. Best of all Jim the property manager lives close by and was very accommodating and friendly. Couldn't ask for a better set up. Highly recommend this cabin. We hope to return soon. Thank you to the owners and Jim and Carolyn for such a nice place to stay!

Clean with the best views

I'm hesitant to post the truth about this cabin for fear that it will be booked everytime we want to return. This cabin is beautiful, clean, fresh smelling, and the unobstructed view of the mountains especially during sunrise make this cabin a must. When you enter the cabin you immediately notice how clean it is. There is a fresh woodsy smell to complement the rustic luxury feel of the cabin. The two bedrooms are the same size with one bathroom slightly larger. There is a Keurig coffee maker with pods, a magic bullet for protein shakes, and the water tastes fresh and well filtered. But, did i mention the view?!?! WOW! The railing around the porch has small slats so our small Corgi was never in danger of slipping through them. Although it was too warm to use the firepit table, it looked lovely.

Great cabin

Loved our stay. Jim was incredibly nice and even stopped over to fix the ceiling fan after we mentioned it not working. Unbelievable views of the mountains, gorgeous sunrises, and very peaceful area. Would definitely recommend!

One of the BEST

I have stayed at various cabins and this one was one of the best. SUPER clean, no dust like other cabins and the view is spectacular. The sunrises are amazing. Super comfortable beds with memory foam pillow tops and granite countertops kitchen and baths. Super updated and comfortable. Very very nice. Also, owner is super communicative and always available.

Besties Annual Mountain Adventure

This cabin exceeded our expectations! The views along with the harvest moons, were spectacular. The sunsets were amazing as well. It felt like walking into a home away from home. It was clean and cozy, and we felt very safe in the area. In addition, Jim was always very prompt and courteous in responding to any questions. We will be back!

Perfect Getaway Cabin

My husband and I enjoyed a great week at Apple Bear Ridge. The cabin was extremely clean and well appointed. We loved the deck - coffee with a sunrise view every morning, lazy afternoons, and the wonderful fire table in the evenings! Jim was extremely easy to work with and made certain that we had everything we needed for a comfortable weeklong stay. We highly recommend this cabin!

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming cabin rental nestled in the picturesque hills of North Georgia. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene ambiance and stunning natural beauty that surrounded us. The cabin itself was cozy yet spacious, with rustic decor that added to its mountain charm. We found everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from a well-equipped kitchen to a cozy living area complete with a fireplace perfect for chilly evenings. Family vacation

This cabin was perfect for our family. It worked great having the second master suite with a king bed and bathroom for our 18 year old son. We even took our two yorkies. I would suggest taking extra tick protection for dogs though. And be careful of the bed frame as my husband and I both hit our shins on it. The cabin had everything we needed and was plenty close enough for various activities. The view was amazing. I would have loved a hot tub or porch swing but we enjoyed just sitting out on the deck. The property manager Jim was super nice and very quick in responding to any questions we had. We appreciated him ver much! Would definitely stay again.
