「The people and place were welcoming and helpful. From dealing with a medical emergency to finding a last minute ride to the airport, our hosts could not have been more lovely. They accommodated us more then enough and treated us like family/close friends. We loved our down time at the villa in the swimming pool and on the amazing verandas, and strolling the streets of the village throughout the day was peaceful and picturesque. The a/c splits worked well to cool most rooms, and the kitchenette...

「I spent one week at Mitsis resort in October 2026. Unfortunately, despite booking a Superior Double Sea View room, my initial experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, I was allocated room 306 on the ground floor. The balcony faced the wall of another building, with no sea view at all (see photo). As this was not what I had booked, I had to complain to reception and request a room change. The next day, I was offered the only alternative, room 739 on the first floor, which at least provided a...

「滞在時間はあまり長くなかったので、これと言った評価はなし。少なくとも悪くなかった。」

「Wonderful welcome from wonderful staff. Nothing feels like too much trouble. The standard room was basic but was perfectly sufficient for our needs and cleaned every day. The hotel has a boutique style with 2 nice outdoor pools and one indoor, next to the small but sufficiently equipped gym. Unfortunately we did not have time to try out the spa treatments but the staff were also very nice in there. We were half-board and found the food to be excellent - lots of choice, very fresh and again,...

「Lovely hotel and lovely touches put in place for my partners birthday. Would come back!」

「Really good hotel. It’s a boutique and therefore you are treated especially well by the staff and family who own the hotel. The location is by the coast with 5min walk to a lovely beach area. Breakfast is good and the gym is ideal. The massage chairs are a great touch and very useful. The rooms are very good size with kitchen and with lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. A very good and calm place to stay and Heraklion is very nearby.」

「Once you adjust to the sheer size and scale of this lovely hotel, you really appreciate how good it is. Excellent food, drink, accommodation and weather… what more could you ask. The only down side for us was the general area outside the hotel resort was quiet with very little night life to talk about, everything is at least a ten minute taxi ride away, great if your looking for some peace and quiet in a high spec resort. Overall a great hotel and well worth another visit in the future.」
