Hilton Garden Inn Colorado Springs North Air Force Academy

"The room was fine overall, though a couple of details need attention. The body wash in the shower was empty -- I discovered that only while showering on my last morning before checkout. The refrigerator also made enough noise that I unplugged it to sleep; I’m sensitive to sound. The staff was helpful, parking was ample, and I appreciated the coffee station opening at 6 a.m. Breakfast costs about $12 per day, which I skipped because there are plenty of nearby places to eat. The main reason I chose this hotel was its proximity to Garden of the Gods, nearby shops, and the pleasant parking-lot area for a short walk after dinner. The fitness center is small and has only kettlebells and a floor mat, but there is a separate room with treadmills, free weights, and a bench. The pool also looked nice. Wi‑Fi was available, though I didn’t use it because my Xfinity Mobile data with hotspot was very fast. That may be a plus for guests who prefer not to use public Wi‑Fi. I also appreciated being able to email a file to the hotel for printing. Overall, this place ticked many of the boxes I want in a hotel. It was a good stay, and I would likely return."

"Quiet and good location. The breakfast could use some help not everyone eats turkey bacon. Also mid shift should not smoke near the door and be available to answer the phone. Other then that it was good"

"My only frustration was that coffee at the front wasn’t available until 9am. As a guest who stayed only one night (overnight stop on my way somewhere) it was useless to me because I was up early to get on the road. My hunch is people who have an extended stay are already off to work before 9a."

"This was my 4th or 5th stay at Flying Horse. I love it. Room is big, views are really good and staff is excellent. Couple that with the outstanding steakhouse that’s right there and I’ll keep coming back."
