"Central, friendly and comfortable "

"I booked this hotel based largely on the fabulous looking pool. We arrived to find it was closed for the season. The surly receptionist said their terms make this clear (I checked their website and found nothing). It put a dampener on our stay. The main restaurant was also closed. We were advised we could use their other restaurant. We checked it out, it is really a locals bar, which I normally wouldn’t mind but it was filthy. Tables were uncleared and cigarette butts lay everywhere. Shame...

"The property was stunning, absolutely massive, very clean, had so much to do there and the views were gorgeous. The hosts were so easy to communicate with and any problems were fixed immediately. Close to local supermarkets and cafes and a train station to get into main Madrid. We had the most amazing time and thank the hosts for making it so lovely."

"Fantástica casa rural. El salón muy espacioso, las habitaciones cómodas, el jardín maravilloso y bien equipado para su disfrute tanto de adultos como de niños. "The hotel staff is very kind and professional. The room was incredibly spacious for the four of us. The breakfast was very good as well. The hotel is right off the highway, so you can get to the center of Madrid and to the airport within 30 to 35 minutes depending if traffic. It is an easy ride to both areas. There are places to go shopping and dining close to the hotel. I would recommend it. "

"A very comfortable stay, with spacious, comfortable rooms and views across to the town and cathedral. Slightly longer that 'walkable' distance from town, but we were happy to drive/bus, both very easy to do and only a few minutes. Loved the outdoor pool area, though slightly disappointed to find the indoor one closed. Evening meal good value. Room very comfortable, with small terrace for views. Facilities in room good, although some fittings (handles, taps) rather 'tired' and loose. "

"We booked the Suite for a long weekend and weren’t disappointed. Room was spacious with numerous balconies. Extra touches with cakes, fruit or sweets daily along with bottled water, besides the normal tea and coffee. Cleanliness was second to none. Staff were professional and polite. Breakfast was full of variety along with freshly cooked eggs and bacon by order. The indoor and rooftop pool facilities were amazing. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity along with bars. Just a short walk away from the Palace and its gardens that are well worth a visit. Highly recommend."
