Nice place with a beautiful view of Fitz Roy. Close to shops, restaurants, and grocery. Owners are very caring and nice. They took care of every detail to make sure our stay was comfortable. Full kitchen with everything we needed.

Cozy hotel that’s like a home away from home

Lovely stay in Chaltén! This hostería is in a great location within walking distance to everything. It’s about a 20 min walk to the main trailheads, but it’s a flat, easy, and scenic walk. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We felt like we were at home! Breakfast was hearty and delicious with homemade cakes every morning. It was a treat! Our room was spacious and quiet and had everything we needed, including extra pillows, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We even had a nice view of Fitz Roy! Bonus- the pizza place across the street is delicious. I absolutely recommend this stay!

This was the best stay I had over two weeks in Argentina! It starts with the hosts - Nico welcomed us warmly and showed us our room and its amenities while offering insight into trails and dining options. Patricia was delightful and charming and accommodated for all of our needs. Plus, her home baking at breakfast time is not to be missed! The property itself is modern, bright and super clean. The linens and towels smelled SO GOOD and retained their freshness for the duration of our three night stay. The cleaners also tidy up exceptionally well and even folded up the laundry we hung to dry! I would definitely stay here again for my next visit to El Chalten! I don't even need to consider another spot. This place is as exceptional as it gets!

5 estrellas solamente porque no puedo poner más estrellas. El lugar está muy bonito y cómodo, con buena ubicación y cerca de la estación de bus y buenos restaurantes. Él desayuno es genial, hasta nos alcanzo para llevarnos de la pastelería deliciosa a los hikes. Lo mejor de todo es la atención de Patricia, Nicolás y Nico son personas muy cálidas y atentas. Muy buena opción en El Chaltén

Hotel renovado y muy cómodo, muy cerca de las tiendas y restaurantes de El Chaltén sin estar en la calle principal que es más bulliciosa. Estuvimos en una habitación en la planta baja, y es cierto que se escuchaba mucho ruido cuando los vecinos de arriba subían o bajaban las escaleras. Por lo demás, super tranquilo. El desayuno no está mal aunque podría ser más completo. Lo mejor, la atención del personal de recepción, que nos recomendaron los mejores días para organizar nuestras salidas de trekking en función del clima y acertaron totalmente. Fueron super amables y nos ayudaron mucho! Ah, y justo al lado tienen el bar TUNDRA, con una happy hour que merece la pena aprovechar :)

Poor value for money. The family who owns and operate the hotel are super nice. However the facility itself is very poor. Internet connection is slow or not working. The town has no cellular connection so this is super important. The rooms are very very basic. Not even a nice couch to sit on. Breakfast is very basic though all bread and cakes are homemade. I would not go there again.

Be prepared to pay 5-10% extra

The hotel charged us 50 USD more for our stay, as compared to the price stated on our reservation. The claimed it was due to the exchange rate. We felt that this is very dishonest, they just wanted to take advantage of us. Breakfast: nice breakfast, mostly homemade. Room: simple, but clean. Unfortunately, the walls are very thin, and you don't have a lot privacy. You hear everything your neighbor says and does, and we often did not get a good night's sleep because of other guests waking up early or coming home late. Location: great, close to bus station, grocery store, pharmacy, spa, restaurants, hikes. The hotel also has a bar/beer garden attached. Unfortunately, that means very loud music during weekend evenings, until quite late. It felt like being next to a nightclub, not like being in a small quiet village in the mountains.
