Ryokans in Ehime Prefecture

"A nice “Ryokan” that is more of a hotel with trappings of a Ryokan. There are two Onsens that alternate between men and women (2F is bigger and better). Breakfast and dinner was good."

"Kotohira Onsen Onyado Shikishimakan was 1 of about 8 hotels we stayed at over about 2 weeks in Japan. While all the places we stayed were good, this was the best. Their onsen is outstanding as were the meals. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to experience the Real Japan!"

"Wonderful room. Large, clean, staff was so helpful. Private outdoor onsen was a big plus. Food was very good. We really enjoyed our stay and the town. Only issue (which was my fault) is I fell off the ledge of the platform bed in the middle of the night when I got up to go to the bathroom."
