「Everything was amazing, the food the room and the service. One very minor flaw. On our second and last morning I didn't fancy another of the pubs excellent full English breakfast so asked for porridges and a sausage bap. I was told that I was only allowed one item off the menu even though I feel the cost of my preference was less. The waiter offered to go and enquire if my request could be granted but I refused his offer saying I would go for the full breakfast which he said "was probably best"」

「Located in Glaston, we used the old pheasant for an overnight base whilst travelling through. Family suite was generous in space, clean and comfortable. Kids had private sleeping space. We enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant and was looked after by the front of house team who were excellent. We stayed for breakfast and enjoyed both a continental and cooked breakfast. Food was value for money and service was fantastic throughout the visit. Would stay again. Value for money.」

「Stayed here many times but disappointed the room (carpet) didn't look clean, bathroom, this is only room with a bath and this will be the third time I've had this room and the bath taps don't work you can only use the shower. Previously I've had water in the room but not this time. Didn't look like the tea, coffee, etc. had been topped up」

「Lovely hotel, staff were fantastic and room was cleaned to an okay standard. We stayed for 2 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned, tea/coffee not replenished, no fresh towels, toilet rolls not replenished resulting in me having to call reception for more. That was the only downside to the stay」

「Different room this time liked it more than the junior suite. Great rate, seems too cheap for the quality of the accommodation. Nice bathroom. It’s an old old old very old building so I understand that it’s difficult to maintain the sash windows, I hope that they can make some progress with this over the next year or so」

「I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks with my kids. Traveling from CA. All staff are extremely friendly! Breakfast was great! Wish they had waffles but nonetheless food was good. They have a shell gas station with bfast sandwiches, snacks and amenities across the parking lot. Also a KFC. I would definitely recommend!!」

They kindly shared information about local shops and sightseeing spots, which helped ease my worries about being in a new town for the first time. The building is old, but the room was clean and I had a comfortable stay. (Adjusting the bath water temperature was a bit of a challenge.) Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay.」
