Enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the deer that visited daily. Spent a day in the national park area, specifically the awesome planetarium presentation and the nature center with the multitude of humming birds. Great location and viewing! Beautiful sunsets and great patio to relax around a fire in the evening.
It is a beautiful property in the perfect location. It’s near the top of the lake so it offers easy access to the lake restaurants and eddyville. The hosts were very accommodating, looking forward to next time.
We had a fantastic stay at this location. The condo was spotlessly clean and well-stocked, with an ample supply of towels, kitchen essentials, and a tasteful decor. It’s conveniently located walking distance from the lake and a short drive to the Eddyville marina. Additionally, Dollar General is conveniently situated nearby. One night, we decided to grill out, and it turned out to be a good experience. We would definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay again!
Beautiful home and property and sunset views. Wish we could have stayed for our planned visit but unfortunately our trip was cut short because of ice storm that came in. Otherwise lovely place to stay.
The house smelled musty and the plug-in scents made the smell even worse. The odor in the laundry room was terrible. Our towels smelled really bad so I had to re-washed all of them. I hope a new cleaning crew is hired soon. You are instructed to start a load of laundry before leaving but there was no laundry detergent available. I believe this is why the towels smelled so bad. Thankfully, I brought my own detergent / fabric softener and was able to freshen things up. The owner was super nice and accommodating.
We mostly enjoyed our stay. I looked at this property online and some of the photos are a bit misleading, hinting maybe at a lakeside setting while in fact the house was near the top of a pretty steep hill. That is on me, because I should have made sure it was handicapped accessible - we made it up the stairs, but my wife had some difficulty with them. The thing we did not like about location was the turnaround at the top of the driveway - the edge of the drive has a steep drop-off that was a bit intimidating. The facilities were very satisfactory - the only possible suggestion was to at least sweep off the patio area and neaten it up - there were leaves and broken sticks scattered about that made it look untidy. Each evening, we were treated to the sightings of multiple young deer my wife especially enjoyed. The property manager was very good about emailing answers to my questions. I am 74 and walk with a cane, and my wife is 80 - if we were younger we would certainly keep this property in mind for a rebooking.
