Lakefront Oconee Cottage with Hot Tub and Boat

Come and experience the ultimate lake life! With plenty of space for up to 10 people, our family's cozy and laid-back cottage offers direct access to the lake and tons of fun activities for everyone with a hot tub, kayaks, SUP paddleboard, life jackets, a charcoal grill, a bonfire pit, and a game room with a ping-pong and foosball table.

We rent the 2022 South Bay tritoon boat at the dock on-site upon request.

The cottage sits on one acre of land with beautiful trees on either side offering plenty of privacy. Giant backyard, perfect for families. New hot tub with lake view on the back patio. House is 2,700 square feet.

There is a desk, wifi, laser-wireless printer, and Keurig coffee maker for those of you wanting to work remotely!

Fits 10 people max and 3 cars max. Our driveway and surrounding areas do not accommodate more than 3 cars.

There is no room for additional boats on-site. We cannot move the boat for you prior to your stay. This home is rented out on the condition the boat will remain at the dock. Please contact us if you’d like to rent it. We offer discounts for multi-day rentals!

Relaxing Family Holiday Week

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The property is very quiet and relaxing and there’s lots of fun things to do. The kitchen is a great size and we enjoyed the space as we prepared our Thanksgiving feast. We definitely would stay again.

Split level home with steep stairs

Communication with the owners is excellent, response time is fast, check in is easy. Very peaceful location. We were given instructions for the hot tub but did not use it. Bedrooms are split making this a great location for multiple couples. If you have any problems with stairs, this is not the place for you. Kitchen is on the main floor; dining table and family room is down a steep flight of stairs. Listing has some inaccuracies-check out time is listed as 11 AM, but after booking, we were informed that we needed to leave by 10 AM. We confirmed that our 75 lb dog would be welcome and confirmed the pet fee, but after booking were told by phone the dog should not be allowed in the sleeping areas for housekeeping purposes. Listing says there is a printer-there was not one during our stay. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired. We found hair in the kitchen sink, food splatters on the cabinets, grass and dirt in the laundry room sink, bottle caps behind the downstairs bed. I gagged when I lifted the sofa cushion to reposition it-it was truly disgusting. Part of the reason we chose this location was for the lake view, which was largely blocked by large towable tube. My husband spent 2 hours cleaning and organizing the patio so that we could enjoy it. The house is lovely and comfortably furnished, but the owners need to arrange for a deep cleaning and review the accuracy of the listing. For the amount we paid in cleaning and pet fee, we certainly deserved better.
