「Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. 」

「There is almost no where to stay in Gilmer, but this cabin was perfect. You can hear the road noise, but it’s really not horrible. We have family of 6, with kids between the ages of 1-14. Everyone had their own bed, and our older kids thought the loft was really cool. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The A/C works great. My kids enjoyed walking the property too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family. 」

「Took my boyfriend and our dog to this beautiful cabin! The inside was super cozy and clean. Everything was perfect! Paul was super sweet, very helpful, and answered very quickly to any questions we had. Sooo many activities to do out there from board games to outdoor games. As well as a variety of movies to watch.The area was so peaceful and had a trail to walk through, perfect for our dog to run around. Definitely looking forward to staying again really soon! 「The cabin was very comfortable and well-furnished. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. The air conditioner worked particularly well. The location was just what we were looking for—on the banks of a slough that connected to Big Cypress Bayou. We were able to put in right by the cabin, but we weren’t bothered by the boat traffic out on the bayou. 」
