"The room was clean and spacious, the bed was ikay but a little worn/soft. The hot tub was nice and warm, though a lot of leaves floating. The breakfast was great, one of the best free breakfasts I've had. At check in they had put out a tray of cookies. They staff was always cheerful and friendly. "

"Great lil cabin right on the water. Perfect for my husband and I and of course our dog. It was a nice getaway for my birthday. It rained one day, but I just sat on the deck with my coffee and listen to it rain and watched the lake. There is a nice store, restaurant and coffee shop within walking distance. We went in mid April and had the whole place to ourselves. We loved it. The hosts are amazingly considerate and respond quickly to ANY questions you may have. We definitely plan to return."

"We loved everything about the house and the location. The best part of our trip was dealing with the property owners. They couldn't have been nicer. Always got back to us right away with any questions we had. "

"We booked it because of the location. My guys love to fish and this was lakeshore and I can see them from the window if I wanted to. Karen and Clint were the most present owners I’ve ever experienced. There to make sure we were welcomed, addressed with persistence any issues we had (tv got fixed) or that others had near the property, some people might be put off but we were delighted. Had great tips on who to chat up in town on the best fishing spots (not everyone likes to give that away) and where to eat, all the locals were friendly, we even went to Easter mass in town. Guys got lucky and caught a couple of fishes, so in addition to all else mentioned, this sealed the deal and we’ll probably be back. "

"I wasn’t informed that the boat launch and boat slip was not operational prior to my stay . I would have stayed somewhere else if I known I couldn’t launch my fishing kayak from the premises. The rental agreement notice I received gave me misinformation with providing me with code to boat launch gate and boat slip . I couldn’t launch my boat as promised by the cabin rental agreement. I won’t recommend the SpecialLake AlmanorBoat RampPetsCozyLakeside to anybody because of the false advertising."
